Wow;

So where is the line in the sand to be drawn. If we can't discuss converted AF 
to scale, can we talk about the earlier "scale" wood kits that represent steel 
cars but have no rivet detail? Or should we only speak about stuff manufactured 
since AM and SHS came on the scene? Maybe the early production AM doesn't 
measure up...

I seem to recall a guy named Ed who converted a bunch of AF heavyweight 
passenger cars to scale. He even had a funny story about being chased up the 
driveway by the collector he bought the cars from when he mentioned his 
intention to convert them.

Another fellow named "Karnes" has these electric locos converted from AF PA and 
en even caboose bodies. Guess he can't talk about them here either.
