Please note that I made absolutely no mention of what could or could not be 
posted on this List.  My commentary regarding mixing toys and models was 
limited to just that concept.  Nothing to do with posting messages at all.  
Just wanted to clarify myself (again)

Every olde tymer in S has converted AF cars to scale at some point in his 
career.  A few converted or kitbashed AF locos, but not nearly as many.  It was 
the only thing one could do back in the goode olde daze before injection molded 
plastic kits were born.  Nothing wrong in discussing that.  I have not 
discouraged such messages.  Maybe it was someone else?

I did suggest that a separate List for discussing changing AF drivers to scale 
drivers might make sense.  From the outpouring of messages on that specific 
topic, it would certainly be an area of high interest.  But even that is not 
the same as saying "don't post such messages" to this List.  I did not attempt 
to constrain the conversation in spite of how it might appear.
