Sure, 1-piece kits are faster and easier to assemble. However, recent events
have demonstrated that the S market is borderline at best for supporting the
level of investment necessary for them. Flat kits may be the only way to reduce
the "buy-in" to a level that S scale will support. Would you buy a flat kit
Gla? I doubt it will ever be done as a 1-piece.
