What is the possibility that the 2010 CGW can be manufactured in the US by the
same producer as the Fowler? Some of us are not intimidated by kits, and
many of us are reconciled to the current higher prices (if you think $40, or
even $70, is high, look at O scale, where urethane freight car kits routinely
go for
more than $100--without trucks or even details). I can understand that the
problem then is that a large part of the market is the AF operators or
collectors,
and not so many of them are eager to assemble a kit, but if the basic kit is
already finished, then the only remaining problem is locating someone to put
them
together for those who can't or won't.
