For some reason I came into a pleasant stroke of good luck! I now have a
complete collection of the S Gauge Hearlds, nicly bound with green covers and
gold lettering. Now to dig through my stash of SSL&S parts and get started.
The model will be built to current NASG code 110 wheel standards, an
independent gear box and Maxon motor. It will also be fully sprung. I'll
develop the mechanism componets and do any needed castings myself for the
project. The frame will be one a piece milled on my Sherline CNC The nice thing
about CNC is once a sucessfully writen program is done making copies becomes so
much easier. Time to warm up the coffee and head into the shop. I still have
GS-4's to finish first!
