Has anyone ever suspended a layout from the ceiling. Then there are no legs in the way or stooping. I sort of recall hearing of a narrow gauge layout in a California garage which was pulled up so the car could be parked..

When you start taking photos of the layout, the closer the layout is to the ceiling the more difficult it is to light, and that applies to just viewing also. Also it seems that it's easier to knock things to the floor when reaching into the layout space. BTW, if you need another vertically challenged individual to do some testing, just send a ticket of some kind my way and I can help lay some track or build some benchwork.
