Ed: I really like your idea about creating a PDF download, which could be available from the NASG website, advertised in magazine ads, etc. This, along with some printed copies to hand out at shows, would really help spread the word. Most of us are looking for instant gratification these days, and having to order a printed magazine, or try to find one at a hobby shop, is not an effective form of distribution.
And, there is no reason why NASG could not work with Kalmbach to provide the photos and info so that one S scale layout appears each year in the Great Model Railroads magazine.
