If this publication (digital or print) is going to accomplish anything, I 
suggest we locate 2 or 3 scalers among us that are under 50 and give them veto 
authority over any BOT decisions.  I guanantee that politics will kill it.  On 
the other hand, why do we need the NASG to do this.  Lots of us buy S products 
we'll never use for the good of the scale, how about starting an "S Scale List 
Fund" to finance the labor involved in putting together a digital SGMRR?  If 
it's free, I can't imagine folks needing to be paid for pictures of their 
layouts.  How much can a digital pub cost if all the material is donated?
 
OK, I know I don't know what I'm talking about.  But Bob's comment about taking 
abuse from a BOT member for sharing his opinions has got my juices flowing.
