Hi George and all --

The t’day holiday has screwed up my ability to remember this is Friday...

I finally built the basic portion of the coal dump house for the coaling tower.
Had some friends around to watch trains for a bit before eating turkey.
I also did some more rolling stock maintenance and some track adjustments...
Someday it will all be “done”!

Have fun!

Built a box structure out of 1x2" to stiffen my english style sector table. A
2'x8' piece of 3/4" plywood supported only on the far ends can get quite a bit
of sag in the middle. Wired tracks on one end.
I've drilled holes for 3/16" bolts in the middle of the tracks at the end to
stop the trains running off the table. Bolts are removable when their track is
live.
Hoped to run an op session next week, but much paperwork and labeling on the
layout remain.
I'm 200 miles or 4 hours from Chattanooga but hope to have the layout humming
by the NASG convention just in case someone drives through on the way down or
back.

George Courtney
