I should have added that I want to try using a sequin (those shinny 
things on womens' dresses) as  reflector--I think that would be 
extremely realistic for steam engines.  I tried them with the older 
grain of wheat bulbs, but the bulbs were too large.  I think I would 
still drill the LED into the lens but back it up with the sequin.
