Gents... I believe both Lionel and MTH have announced/stated an SD70ACe modern diesel with scale wheels is coming. Darn.... And I didn't even want to be forced to enter the modern era. Dang it all. With regard to the Lionel U33C, the 2012 version of that loco will have a higher gear ratio making for slower top speeds. A nod toward the scale modeler, I would assume.
