Alan, The covered hopper you are referring to was not exactly a "cylindrical"
hopper. It is an ACF "Center Flow" car, who's prototype came in 2, 3 and 4 bay
versions. The Lionel offering is much more rounded, but not completely "round",
but is an accurate (by all prior indications)cylindrical hopper.
