 I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I'm pretty sure transparency is possible for
 JVXL files, we just haven't implemented it yet. I don't know how mesh=True
 works though. So I guess those points don't really count for the IFS based
 implementation.

 I will try to get the difference in size between a pmesh file and a JVXL
 file for you. But I can tell you now that the main advantage of JVXL is
 size, since efficient compression of isosurfaces was one of its primary
 design goals.
