I have no idea what the factor of 3 is about--William Stein wrote the
_prepare_for_jmol functions--but I would guess it's something to do with
trying to center the object in the middle 1/3 of the viewable area. I
believe the bounding box functionality method on IndexFaceSet is correct,
but it would be good to have some doctests asserting this.
