I would like to rename the "hole" parameter so that it is consistent with
me and Jason's work on #5514, which implements exclusions for parametric
3D plots. Is everybody OK with the term "region"? So the user provides a
"region" parameter which returns True for all points that should be
included. Note that this is an inversion of the logic for "hole", which
returns False for all points that should be included. We currently use
"region_function" in #5514, but I would like to change that as well to the
more concise "region".
