I think that's a progress, because this time we consider building of David
Green's files, not of MeatAxe.
Perhaps you downloaded the spkg 5 minutes too early, because I first
forgot to modify {{{src/present/Makefile}}} as well. But meanwhile, it
contains the lines

CFLAGS=-I$(MTXSRC) -Wall -g -fPIC -O1 $(DARWIN64)
LFLAGS=-L$(MTXLIBDIR) $(DARWIN64)
LFLAGS2=-l$(MTXLIBNAME) $(DARWIN64)
