Lots happens when I am asleep and lecturing first thing in the morning :)
I cannot comment on the sage-release thread from work. I am one of the few
people running sage on linux ppc - more as hobby to check that it works
than real
production. The problem for numpy on ppc is fixed in numpy-1.5.
cannot comment on the rest right now I have a truckload of exams to
prepare.
