 Yes, it was me who added the comments - see my comments 3 months ago on
 this ticket.

 I don't see what the problem is though - Sage includes a lot of code
 licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License - e.g. MPIR recently
 changed to that. Hence my comment this are "Sage compatible". Actually, I
 think someone has changed that, as I doubt I would have started the
 sentence with a lower case 's', but it's a minor point.  I think the
 license issue is a ''non-issue''.

 I have some recollection that the cvxopt authors were going to incorporate
 my Solaris patch, so given this has ticket has been changed from using
 version 1.1.2 to using 1.1.3, I'm puzzled that does not appear to have
 happened.

 I'm more concerned we have made this use GLPK, but to the best of my
 knowledge, there's not a single doc test showing any example of how to use
 GLPK, so we have no idea of that functionality works at all.
