Comment(by jhpalmieri):
I'm still having problems with this on t2; now I get the following error
message, immediately after the description of the platform and the C
compiler:
{{{
****************************************************
ld: Software Generation Utilities - Solaris Link Editors: 5.10-1.496
ld: fatal: no files on input command line
Cannot execute ld!
}}}
With the previous version, the build also failed on hawk eventually,
although with a different problem. I'll try to post the log somewhere
soon.

We seem to be using the most recent "stable" version, whatever stable
means. (I'm using the language from the Atlas website.) It's over a year
and a half old, though, with 25 unstable releases since then. Should we
try 3.9.25, released in early November? Or is it too risky to try
something labeled "unstable" by the developers?
