platform dependency just based on my tests on 1 or 2 machines. It looks
good, people who used the 3.8.3 version were satisfied (but unfortunately
didn't always report their success story on the ticket). If we had a round
of testing on the bot I would fell more comfortable pushing the positive
review button.
This is a good idea. In fact, I'd like a way to take any spkg, put it the
most recent alpha, and submit it to the buildbot. But for now I would be
very happy to see this ATLAS upgrade get into 4.7.1.
