Well, you could simply leave #9138 at the bottom of the queue, so you
would need to recompile only once. Or truly import the patch (not
qimport, but import).
If this is really an obstruction to you, I could easily make available a
sage-5.0 pre-prerelease with the few patches related to #9138.
