  Dear Hans,

  I also like you personally and do not mind that you disagree.

  I understand that this partnership may provide PostgreSQL with an
  opportunity to expand its community and that you need to ensure that people
  have a very negative impression of MySQL and this partnership for this to
  happen.

  As I have always said, PostgreSQL is a fine database, with a broad feature
  set. We have no need to spread FUD around the issues.  I admit that there is
  some old or invalid information still in our manual. I will personally
  remove this junk in the coming weeks. :)
