The natural pest controllers will probably die too. That is,
the owls, hawks, coyote, bobcat, etc. that eat the pests will
usually target the weak and slow - that is the
poisoned-but-not-yet-dead pest. After ingesting a poisoned
chipmunk or two the predator also dies. Which certainly
doesn't discourage the pest population.

Yet there are times when poison seems the only effective
method. I guess I'm saying please think a moment and be
sure before using poison.

Why you wanna have a petting zoo?
I'm using rat traps on the chippies. Your humane traps just mean
you transport the critters to somewhere else that probably already
has critters. Those critters will defend their territory and
somebody dies. Either from injuries sustained in the fight or
starvation. So all you're doing is subbing out your killing to
somebody else.
A real man kills when he must. In our case the chippies are ruining
our concrete front steps and tunneling under the supports for the
neighbor's deck, plus there are holes everywhere. They need to go.

I'm using rat traps on the chippies. Your humane traps just mean you
transport the critters to somewhere else that probably already has critters.
Those critters will defend their territory and somebody dies. Either from
injuries sustained in the fight or starvation. So all you're doing is subbing
out your killing to somebody else.
A real man kills when he must. In our case the chippies are ruining our
concrete front steps and tunneling under the supports for the neighbor's deck,
plus there are holes everywhere. They need to go.

Why you wanna have a petting zoo?
I'm using rat traps on the chippies. Your humane traps just mean
you transport the critters to somewhere else that probably already
has critters. Those critters will defend their territory and
somebody dies. Either from injuries sustained in the fight or
starvation. So all you're doing is subbing out your killing to
somebody else.
A real man kills when he must. In our case the chippies are ruining
our concrete front steps and tunneling under the supports for the
neighbor's deck, plus there are holes everywhere. They need to go.

Keep Diazanon OFF pets/animals. The prior suggestion can be sprayed
