I'm using ClipCache Pro v3.1.1 (the latest) + DQSD 4 on a couple of machines
runnings Windows XP Pro, and haven't seen this problem at all (ever). I'm not

I have 67 searches enabled (329 disabled), and I'm fairly certain that only
the searches which are enabled show up in my help.
As an aside, you might check out the qsfreq 'search', which also allows you
to disable searches. I wrote it because it was too painful (for me) to
manually determin
qsfreq records the searches used regardless of how they are invoked
(explicitly or through auto-parsing, like Shawn said), so that almost might
help resolve the problem.

I'm speculating, but one reason for this may be that Javascript is disabled for
your browser. There's a bit of javascript in the temporary file you're seeing
which should submit the form, and if that wasn't firing for whatever reason,
this would probably be a symptom.

the shortcuts that were placed in the Shortcuts category. This category is
probably best reserved for user-defined shortcuts.

wasn't needed. This makes the HTML in the tag a lot more
concise.

I fixed a bug that Monty found where only the first alias for a user
shortcut was listed in the popup menu. I also added a preference to change
the way the searches are sorted in the help. They were sorted by the first
alias, but I changed it to sort by the search name.

I'm almost certain that localaliases.txt is the only user preference file
installed. It was installed simply to give some examples of usage.
Probably is a good idea to at least drop empty copies of the other user
preference files in a fresh install, with just some comments at the top
explaining

One option would be to subscribe with multiple addresses, then disable
delivery to all but the ones you want delivery to.
Posting shouldn't be restricted to just list members (I just tested it from
a non-subscribed address, and it worked).

I didn't know anything about xteq... pretty interesting.
Here's what I'm thinking right now...
- have an extensions subdirectory
- in the extensions subdir have a single .xml for each extension
- any extraneous files needed by the extension would be in a subdir of the
extensions subdir.
