This suggests the ban is not strictly enforced. This
may change as Turkmenistan Hams are trying to get Ham radio
re-instated. As far as I know, it is not legal yet, and no awards
organization (the DXCC Desk, CQ magazine, etc.) will accept EZ QSLs
from August 2006 onward.

The killers are the rare ones that only come on for a few
days. And Murphy's Law dictates that there will be a geomagnetic
storm if the DXpedition is short and the demand is high. :-)

We used the IC-7000 on Scarborough Reef and the radio performed
extremely well.. It basically sat in the open air 24hrs a day and
never missed a beat.
No it does not have a second receiver, but that is only really handy
for chasing DX not being DX.
