Lee, if I knew Karen's physical address I could have PetFlow or another
Petfood company deliver several large bags of cat food to her. I wish
I could do more, but I have 30 cats of my own and a very expensive no
kill, cageless cat sanctuary building to keep up.
PLease keep us updated about Karen.
Yes, ours has a community pantry, for the same reason.
Anyone can come and get food.

This not a bother. I too am on SS, at poverty level and have a problem feeding
6 cats and myself. One help I get is volunteering at th senior center in town
- I get my one big meal free for working there. In the evening it is fruit and
cereal. I keep my fingers crossed that my van keeps work
Sure would be nice if one of us could win a couple of million. I would even
take in dumped children if I could. But the law won't let me do that and on SS,
I barely keep myself and 6 cats going. Seems the rich get richer and animal
lovers get poorer.

I understand all too well. I've been having great difficulty feeling very

Is there a paypal address that can be shared publicly (like on facebook)
for donations? It might help a little if there were a 501(c)3 rescue who
will allow dona
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, Karen and I have both worked on this
problem, I on the computer and Karen asking friends, rescuers and others for
some help, mostly to no avail. The TNR group here is San Antonio Feral Cat
Coalition. They do not have a shelter situation so get very little ca
I can sure empathize with your friend, my bf and I care for over 20
colonies. The rescue bills over the years have taken any credit we can
find, we have no money for a home (health/dental etc) for ourselves, and
our daily lives completely hinge on the weather and our colonies, not to
mention work,
This is probably not allowed on this list but I can't just stand by and see my
friend Karen suffer. She has been feeding about 16 outdoor colonies. She
watches over the health and welfare of these cats as if they were her own house
cats. Recently, she has had a really bad run of luck. She rescue
