When you install a library the includes get typically installed
into /usr/include (I assume --prefix=/usr) Once the library is installed, it
is available on this system as well as system libraries and their includes.

But then, YASim's physics cannot yet 'see' the carrier deck. Changing YASim
and the others to see the ground cache is one of the next steps.
You will only be able to taxi on the carrier's deck with that
JSBSim-dropin.tar.gz from the same ftp location.

make display lists for the
ac3d models in the plib loader code. This works well for me.
From that, I would tell the plib patch is ok.
