Hello everyone!
I would love to delve into the world of interactive fiction, but I can't get
the Jaws cursor to work well with the TADS HTML interpreter. Does anyone
know of Jaws version 10 scripts for a TADS interpreter? If not, does anyone
know of an interpreter that is easier to use than T
Hi Ian
No, you are not minority. Minority are those who use Iphones and windows
mobile, although they think that they are the majority. Ok, it is the most
accessible, I know, but there is plenty of people that can not aford it here
in Europe. What about them? If there were a symbian version
Hi,
Yeah, if there was a Symbian version I would imagine they would out
number the IPhone and Windows Mobile users. Unfortunately, I'm not
sure there is a Python interpreter for Symbian phones, and even if
there were a lot of the other stuff the client depends on such as
PyGame, PyTTS, etc wouldn't
Hi Jerry,
Well, you could always try Adrift. I use Adrift a lot and most Adrift
games tend to be fairly accesssible. You might also try Winfrotz TTS
for Inform type text adventures
Cheers!

Hello.
Louis, if you do find a way to put this on Symbian, I believe there would be
quite a few people who would like to use it there, including me. I am able

really cool.

I wish to contradict you about the iphone being the most accessible, but if
you pardon my language once more every single person I know who has had an
experience with one has said its "shit". I myself agree. Talks is the best

OK all, this topic stops now. If you want to take it off list, feel free

Hopefully you guys will read this before responding further since I'd

Hi Brandon,
The reason is because the RS Games client was written in Python.
Python is a runtime language, that is it requires a third-party
runtime environment, and a Python program in theory will run on any
computer where there is a compatible Python runtime environment and
modules. So, for examp
well its interesting you mentioned that.
I heard nokia is splitting or something and that all the newer phones
will be using a non accessible version of simbion.
On that note I'd far like to use my ipod rather than my symbian
device its good for a phone but I'd never seriously play games on it.
well I am not sure about inform, I never found a good windows
interpreter I Liked.
but htmol tads is good, hugo is also good.
and the new git program for inform7 is good.
if you want that go to www.lacunastory.com and get the game.
its with that and then you can run any game you want.

hmmm
depends on the os version.
the first version of the os was "shit" but v4 should be better.
True you probably need a bluetooth keyboard.
Talks is currently the best but thats not goint to last for long.
nokia is splitting which means a period with the new symbian os being
not accessible.
