Ive only been able to record something once, and that was with the help of a mentor which is now no where to be found. About goldwave, do you mean 150 commands before the program shuts down or only 150 commands are unlocked, and I can use the demo without any trial experation?

I see both sides. I know Dark, as a moderator, is responsible for trying to insure that cracks dont get shared or distributed via the forum. This is a serious thing, and could possibly get the entire site shut down by relevant authorities or hosting providers if it got bad enough. On the other hand, this is yet another case of punishing the many for the actions of the few. Not only that, but just because PMs are disabled doesnt mean all private discussion about cracks is going to stop, just like that. There are lots of other ways for consenting people to privately communicate with each other, instant messages, Twitter direct messages, Facebook, Email, even encrypted Email if they want to make really sure their conversations cant be intercepted, etc. So its not going to be, Oh well, Dark turned off the private message feature, so I guess that means we cant share cracks any more. One has nothing to do with the other.

Free accessible Spyware remover?

Hi.Do you have any suggestions for any free and accessible spyware remover? Im having issues on setting the checkmarc to remove the spyware and malware in Super antispyware, and for some weird reason, I cant read anything at all with the virtual cursor in NVDA in Malware bytes. That worked in the previous versions, so it seems as they have broken the accessibility, or its just me whos doing something wrong. Any recommendations are welcome.

for some reason I saw that Mason had that too. But i have about 500 dollars and 34000 kills but all I have is pit items and health. For some reason I also dont have the hot key when you press d, you get to a menu that clears everything. I dont have that. And yes, I bought the advanced set fore 15000 dollars. My questions are; Do you have to get a registered version?; Do you have to get all of your upgrades up?; Do you have to get all the metals? Please help!

Well, actually, I have already made my first strike, and Im having grand fun playing Crazy Eights on All In Play. So much so that I went ahead and bought a membership, just so I can play all the games. Still taking a very leisurely prowl through the games list, and finding goodies! BTW, thanks for the link! Ill definitely take a look, since I can swim very well in audio waters and somewhat competently in very calm visual waters, so long as MAGIC doesnt get too upset.

I think people are rather over reacting here. @Roro, it is not about getting in trouble with the authorities. We discourage audio game cracks for the above stated reasons which has nothing to do with copywrite or anything else, its to do with supporting developers. I have known developers utterly quit because their stuff was being pirated more often than it was bought.As I said, the pm system isnt gone for good, it is just that I do feel some actions need considdering sinse this is the third time someone has asked me for cracks over pm and I am not certain how much of that behaviour goes on otherwise, short of reading everyones messages. This is not a perminant solution, pms are not gone for good, they are just out until we can think of a way of minimizing their miss use.As to Mike-tan, I did exchange several pms and made absolutely certain that he wanted the full version
  of zero site without paying. That is just not acceptable. I did considder that he might not have read the rules, which is why he got a miner ban of two months rather than longer, however to be honest if a person has good enough English to be on this forum, they should have good enough English to understand no piracy of audiogames It is not as if that is hidden.

@Damascena, im a little confused on why you couldnt find lunimals on the game list sinse that was just where I found the above link. If you set the filter by title its between Lost cities, and aLworks arcade. Alternatively as I said you could use the dropdown. I will check the game, but I am absolutely certain there is a list of what eats what in the main menu precisely to avoid! these sorts of problems.

Its actually quite funny to think that back in 2006 when I first discovered this forum myself I did exactly the same thing, wandering through the db and trying everything! though at that point the db was about a third the size it is now meaning youve got quite a task ahead of you .

I dont tend to find the problem with skills in supernova sinse with sn its literally one column per skill whatever they end up being called, for example emp is just called emp, while emp resistance comes out as emp sistan . The only issue is that once youve used a skill, the icon to activate it will still be active and until the screen changes so you need to be careful when activating two skills next to each other to hit the right ones.Regarding combat in the game, well one thing to remember is the computer has all the same skills you do. They may be using  scattergun, double speed or similar. Combat is pretty involved and you really do need to plan carefully to win. I always found for example it pays in the new s5 to have the best ecm available. In previous smugglers Id usually go for the basic Ii, sinse I wanted to save my action points. Not in Invasion. Of course, keeping an
  ecm resistance skill on the table when you think its likely your opponent might missile you helps too. I have also found that any skills that make it harder for the opponent to hit you are very valuable. Taunt, break maneuvers, the dart fighters engine boost ability etc. Indeed, playing defense over offense, and making sure that I have as many skills activated as possible rather than just pounding away with the guns, indeed often Id sacrifice a shot to activate more skills, sinse skills will be wat wins the battle in the end. Hope some of this helps. Sinse Ive actually finished the game it is possible.

@Pragma: Aaah, thank you! Alt-a is also working. But with this you have to select the building first. Sometimes Alt-g doesnt work and you have to press enter after pressing alt-g. But usefull it is allready.Your Idears of different status-effects is very very interesting. I had another idear about this. Esspecialy for the Elements. Have you thought about to bring in some requirements for the towers? For example watertowers can only be build on squares with bridges cause there is water too? And airtowers only on squares with existing forests? You know, trees produce air. Something like this. Hope you get my point.

hi,thanks for the replies.as far as placing cane is concerned, i placed it horizontally and then moved the phone camera back then forward, but it kept playing a tone in the middle and its pitch was not changing.im trying to become familiar with the vOICe, but so far itsa bit confusing, mainly because even if im pointing the phones camera to the front where there is no object, it still keeps playing a distinct tone, and many times it plays irregular tones when pointing the camera at a plane surface like a glass table.it also keeps announcing compass directions, even after closing the app, is there any solution for this?regards,sid.

@firefly: You can use shift A to go backwards through a list of orders, so it doesnt take that long to get to any order.@soundmud: Could you maybe make it so that you are defeated when all your meadow buildings are destroyed? It can sometimes be hard to find all the buildable_anywhere buildings, especially since some of them are invisible in the mod.

I think this debate is going way out of hand. I am quite aware that any peace of software can be pirated, that there is nothing stoping someone going off this forum and finding a crack, an illegal copy or whatever. That however isnt my concern. My concern is what happens on this forum.Think of it this way, there are some parts of the world where selling coacane is quite legal, and it is quite possible for someone to leave Britain, go to columbia or china or whereever and buy and sell drugs. That doesnt however invalidate the law in Britain or the fact that Coacane has been deemed a harmful substance whos sale should be prohibited. Yes, there are certainly people in Britain who sell and use coacane, but does that mean the police should say oh well maybe we should just tell everyone its quite okay then? Like the British police on this matter, Im not concerned either with what goes on off the

Well, the random stage building is fun, particularly because it allows you to place enemies that you havent unlocked. Although you wont be able to control where they will go of course. Still dont have any idea how to unlock glitch pics and keygens.All the spikes only seem to do 10 damage just like in rusty software which seems a bit low. Apart from that, its fun to put 200 enemies in a level which is only like 500 squares.

@Quasar, my stratogies are sort of similar. For some reason I found the knight the hardest, Im not sure why.@Evildog, mech warrior would be great, especially if there can be some weapon customization and rpg like elements as well as the battling. That is what has always interested me in mech games, the need to balance stratogy and micro manage your own mech as well as try and counter the weaknesses of your enemies. there was once an attempt to create an accessible version of the tabeltop wargame battletech, that was called megamech. It was an interesting idea, but sadly used a really dodgy java system that interacted badly with screen readers and never got off the ground as far as access went.While I realize this would be more action and less stratogy, I still find the idea interesting, and once again its a style of game we havent seen accessible yet.

Dark, to relate your coacane selling analogy to the current situation, you as the police have caught person x selling drugs illegally. Arresting person x is perfectly fine; he was doing something bad. I believe you when you say that you affirmed that Mike Tan was trying to be bad and get a crack for the game, and that he deserves a punishment. Plus these people are all over the world, many dont know English well, and some are not computer power users. Taking away a communication medium like this, shared by everyone, is extremely crippling, as it was a reliable way to communicate with another forumite. It doesnt matter whether its just a temporary measure. Not really. If you attached a time frame to the whole thing, say like in 3 weeks, it might be okay, but you havent, so PM could be disabled indefinitely.

Dan Z's games.

Hi guys,Ive been trying to play Dan Zs games, but theyre not working. Ive never had any trouble trying to get them to work before, but now Im having a problem. These games include:Super Deegout, Search Party, and Chainlink.As you all know, the games were made free to us back in 2010 I believe. We have to put the patch that Dan gave us in to the game folder under program files.When I try to do that, I try to run the game and it pops up with a message telling me that it needs to extract a file? Or, the file I just put in there. For example, the Super Deegout file would b Super.exe. When I extract the file, I say I want to overwrite the file thats already in there, but no it crashes winzip. I just dont get it. This happens with all the games, I dont know why, but Im getting frustrated. Does anyone have any ideas, or has anyone ran into this before?Thanks for any help.

Why is it that Microsoft cranks out something really good, then turns up something terrible then in a desperate attempt to make things right again cranks out yet something else?It happened with Vista, it happened with Windows 8, and will probably continue to happen.Oh well, Im not a Microsoft customer anymore.Ill stick to Mac OS X and Windows XP.

Oh, whatever. Not only is 7 not all that good, but lets face it, ending mainstream support is nothing like ending the life of a product. So 7 users can and should just carry on, until MickeySoft gets a clue and releases Windows 9 with an all-modern architecture and internals, with all-familiar start menu and compatibility.

I find the knight the hardest as well. I think its due to how he sometimes attacks very quickly, leaving almost no room for error with your parry timing.

I know why Damascena couldnt find Lunimals in the game list. The game list appears to be in alphabetical order, but it actually is not. I imagine some time in the past it was meant to be, so the first hundred or so are in alphabetical order, but then you get games randomly tossed in after that. The list probably should be sorted to prevent this type of confusion, because I have also spent time staring at the list wondering how I cant find some specific game in the list, only to realize that it is down below the section that is alphabetized.Dark I agree, I am almost certain the games main menu explains what each animals eating habits are. I havent played in a long time though, so I wouldnt bet my life on it.

Personally, Im one of the people who dont see that as a bad thing.Being completely honest, I dont see whats so great about windows 7. My main computer had some problems a few days ago, so I had to switch back to windows 7 on one of my older laptops while I resolved the other system; and truth be told, I couldnt stand it. This may be more because Ive gotten used to windows 8, but I could never go back to 7.In my case, windows 8 seems to perform better in everyday tasks. Its supposed to be better at managing battery consumption, but I cant speak for that since I never really paid much attention. But when it comes to simple tasks such as just browsing around with firefox, windows 8 is superior to seven IMHO.Oh, dont get me started on XP. Im not even going there.

Personally, Im one of the people who dont see that as a bad thing.Being completely honest, I dont see whats so great about windows 7. My main computer had some problems a few days ago, so I had to switch back to windows 7 on one of my older laptops while I resolved the other system; and truth be told, I couldnt stand it. This may be more because Ive gotten used to windows 8, but I could never go back to 7.In my case, windows 8 seems to perform better in everyday tasks. Its supposed to be better at managing battery consumption, but I cant speak for that since I never really paid much attention. But even in simple tasks such as browsing around with Firefox, windows 8 is superior to seven IMO. Theres also the startup speed increase which is even more so using UEFI and secure boot.Oh and dont get me started on XP. Im not even going there.

@Dark: while I respect your desire to protect developers from pirates/crackers, ultimately laws follow people and not the other way around, and people dont expect to be presumed guilty. JMO, but imposing limits on the way people use the forum for any reason that is not clearly a problem is not respectful. I hope that whatever you decide to do will not have any noticeable impact on the way people use PMs, that it will be transparent, and that it will be easily justified. Im still personally of the opinion that the best you can do is discourage people, but thats just my opinion.

@KeyIsFullUnfortunately, yes, the cops do take extra measures. This is for example the reason why here in the Netherlands, you arent allowed to bring any bottles or other such containers containing chemicals/liquids with you aboard a plane unless you bought them past the security checkpoint. Most people just bring bottled water, but its designed to prevent people who have tear gas and other such unwelcome things. It inconveniences many but its still there, and probably for good reason.But its probably no good comparing this to other criminal activities, apples and oranges and such.Just had to throw this out there even though On the whole Im not really happy with this change though. Believe me Im all for making it harder on here to discuss cracks also in PMs, but disabling the entire system goes a bit far. And yes Im fully aware of the fact that this is not going to be permanent, but that does not detract from the fact tha
 t youre hitting a lot of people with this.Also, I definitely think this debate is necessary because we have to find a solution to this. For example I think limiting PMs to users with a certain number of posts isnt a good way to go, especially since recently a lot of developers have popped up who have registered to the forum and one of their first posts being that theyve released something.I think the incident that led to this discussion is pretty justified, the punishment and such. The only thing I have a problem with is disabling PMs. I could give other reasons why I think this needs to be reconsidered but others have pretty much already given them, so Ill not be repetitive and just call it quits for now.

I felt the same way about Jaws, Windows, ec. Frankly I use Windows because its what I had grown accustomed to, but Im all about Apple, and even Androids are terrible and dont compare well to Apple. Besides, Apple was first witht eh computers, whereas Microsoft was only competing against them.

The game is pretty decent. I personally do not like the counting steps method. Theres no sense of urgency when you are on a map with enemies; they just stay put. There is a skeleton of a story here but nothing to write home about. Why is the book so important? Does it have abilities? The mazes are a challenge. Voice acting is great. The variety of lines leaves something to be desired.

Im missing program files, system32 and videos. So all of the other ones definitely dont give you them. And system32... ugh, just no. The other two might be doable if I actually get the motivation to get massive amounts of health, but so far that motivation has been rather lacking especially since I lost like 600 from that weird custom stage bug. Dont really blame anyone for that because it can happen, but it still makes me moderately annoyed.

Frankly, I feel like all there exists is a simple binary, when there are in fact several alternatives.First I will start with what I agree with, then what I disagree with, and then what I think could be improved and why.First of all, I agree that the first thing that was needed was to clarify and make certain that the person in question was requesting for something that is considered illegal and or immoral as cracking. Having not done so could have resulted in a major disaster as stated in post no. 2. I agree that there could be a clearer understanding of what terms like cracking, serial numbers, etc means. In fact, I was wondering if the Forum could have a translation feature for those coming from non-English countries. It would be nearly impossible to establish a multi-lingual forum in this situation, but at the same time try to keep the terms simple and not complex so that anyone would be able to understand it no matter th
 e culture, since all cultures around the world have a simple moral, do not steal from others. I agree that the needed punishment was necessary, though I am beginning to think that people who never reform are impossible to punish, which branches off into another argument that I wont bother starting up. I also agree that finding a blanket solution to end cracking is impossible, though I think it would be just better if people were altruistic as Benjamin Franklin, though sadly, John Locke said himself that people are primarily selfish and they want to compete against one another in making better profits. Therefore, I think cracking games is more of a moral decision and not a legal one, though it is legal because stealing or shop-lifting means you are taking away something without paying for it, whereas if you make copies of something without paying for it, no one will get any money, or have to pay anything. The only time it becomes a legal matter is if a person copied it, modifie
 d it and sold it with their own tweaks. This becomes a copyright infringement, which is stated in a certain article of the United States constitution, and many other Western countries use the same system. If a person redistributed the games for free, then there is no restriction and the person can modify them at will, but the purpose is to not sell and make a profit that could result in legal wars. As mentioned, developers need to use all the money they can get to pay for their own expenses and whatnot, but again, it would be nicer if the world wasnt so money-hungry. Sadly, I dont think that a solution for this problem wont be found for another hundred years, or maybe never at all. I am thinking that maybe all cultures should be equally tempered to a certain degree so that everyones on the same page, though bringing a whole world to sameness is yet something not foreseeable.Here are the things that I disagree with.
