Okay, first ending found, and as it took me about five rl hours, that is pretty good going, indeed this one is a longer play than Nano Empire, I think..Interestingly enough, the ending I got (the first I've seen so far), it was likely the most extreme bad end, but I have ideas of where to go next time, indeed in a way having that end as essentialy a death trap was quite fitting.My only miner disappointment is that there doesn't seem to be either a record of what endings you've found , or any game plus features to make the second playthru a little different from the first, the way that even games like universal paperclips have, or at least if there are they're possibly hidden, . These were elements missing from Nano empire, which I was hoping to see in Evelyn's farm, since having some sort of achievements to work towards and some rewards for finishing the game multiple times would be a nice insentive to discover all the endings and different story paths, EG perhaps for each new ending you lock you get a boost to either strength, knowledge or money.Still, I can tell that getting all the endings will be an achievement in itself, even if not one tracked by the game. In general though, this is awesome! Basically a newly improved nano empire withh characters with distinct personality, a really interesting story, better balanced    gameplay that doesn't make the player invincible in the   endgame and a system of mechanics that is just plane adictive, , , heck I've been up all night playing . So a five star from me on the ap store and hope everyone else has as much fun wandering evelyn's farm as I have, and likely will continue to have until I've got all the endings. Indeed, I'll say from a personal perspective, I'll be doing a lot of sitting around in hospital with my lady this week, so this game will be very welcome.Edit: okay, second ending now found, or rather the obvious and boring "go to college" ending .A Gain, I'm really wishing there was  a better clicking mechanic. The most efficient way I've found is to rest the index finger of one hand on the "work" button, and drum the fingers of the other hand repeatedly on the screen. On the one hand, this means I can complete tasks pretty quickly, even when the cost has grown fairly steep (it took about twenty seconds of drumming for my character with 17 strength to get to seven thousand strength to complete the corn  harvesting just now when going for  the boring ending), on the other, it gives me finger ache, and occasionally activates the rotor if I'm not careful .I'd definitely like a multy click over longer time option if possible, since the alternatives are either repetitive strain injuries or lots of waiting around and no clicking at all, since clicking the normal way with double taps for buttons is so long winded.

Okay, first ending found, and as it took me about five rl hours, that is pretty good going, indeed this one is a longer play than Nano Empire, I think..Interestingly enough, the ending I got (the first I've seen so far), it was likely the most extreme bad end, but I have ideas of where to go next time, indeed in a way having that end as essentialy a death trap was quite fitting.My only miner disappointment is that there doesn't seem to be either a record of what endings you've found , or any game plus features to make the second playthru a little different from the first, the way that even games like universal paperclips have, or at least if there are they're possibly hidden, . These were elements missing from Nano empire, which I was hoping to see in Evelyn's farm, since having some sort of achievements to work towards and some rewards for finishing the game multiple times would be a nice insentive to discover all the endings and different story paths, EG perhaps for each new ending you lock you get a boost to either strength, knowledge or money.Still, I can tell that getting all the endings will be an achievement in itself, even if not one tracked by the game. In general though, this is awesome! Basically a newly improved nano empire withh characters with distinct personality, a really interesting story, better balanced    gameplay that doesn't make the player invincible in the   endgame and a system of mechanics that is just plane adictive, , , heck I've been up all night playing . So a five star from me on the ap store and hope everyone else has as much fun wandering evelyn's farm as I have, and likely will continue to have until I've got all the endings. @8: depends on the game, but there are some huge problems. The biggest is that BGT just plain doesn't work the same way as most game libraries I've worked with, including Pygame.I have ported from _javascript_ and Java to BGT, though the _javascript_ ports were limited to certain games (my DBZ RPG or the JFTAG use  for sound, and make heavy use of oldschool JS arrays, which are more like Python's dicts, so porting that to BGT is a huge mess.)Java-to-BGT has been simplest. BGT's sound and sound_pool are similar enough to what I was using in Java, and are actually easier and less fickle. The inpinput, windows, and speech are all different, but that's a simple matter of writing a couple loops (then using inheritance so you only have to do it the once). BGT is better about speech, so that's just a matter of naming a TTS object what I was originally working with, and find/replacing name mismatches.Python, though? I wrote a program to try and convert BGT code to Python, syntactically, and it is little more than a time-saver on the big, easy things. And it's not always so great at those, either.Python does not have the easy sound that BGT does. Pygame.mixer is kinda similar, if you're not using pitch bending, so if you have something to convert BGT's pan and volume to Pygame's two volumes, it might work. Except BGT's sound engine does not have anywhere near as much trouble with arbitrary ogg or 8/16/32-bit wavs as other engines. If you're lucky and all of the sounds work just fine in a different engine, then you just need to wrap something that makes porting over the sound code smimple. Otherwise, you might wind up needing to make big changes to the sounds to get into the new engine's preferred format.BGT also allows global variables, and Python forces you to be specific about those. It's not so bad coming from Java, where everything must be in a class, period. But from BGT, where global scope and unbound functions are often the most straightforward way to do things? Huge mess going to Python or Java (I miss 2005 _javascript_).I ported DLE to BGT really quickly. The most troublesome part was all the array-as-dict stuff, but that wasn't actually so common. More common was switch statements with strings, which BGT doesn't allow, so I had to replace every case  with else if(mystring==thatstring). And there were a lot of those. Like, the entirety of the main loop, more or less, was basically a series of nested switch statements, with some other stuff at the top and bottom to clean up the rest. Does anyone but _javascript_ even allow that?Maybe I could port the Jeqocon console to Pygame. It's not like there's important use of pitch-bending in there, although I'd miss the survival mode music effects in Jeqo Prime. Python doesn't have switch statements at all, though, and the console was originally in Java, so of course I used switches for input and menus all over the place, and the kind that BGT does support. But I've already made a sound_pool for Pygame, and ported some of the utilities the console uses, so it'd probably be primarily a syntax thing.Of course, redistributing python games is a pain in the everything. BGT gets away with a lot by being Windows-specific. Python can't assume crap about the target system, so you have to drag along at least 12mb of stuff, even if the user already has most of it. You have to make sure that all the libraries are included correctly. I'm beginning to realize why so many devs don't even bother building their projects for distribution, and just leave the source and build instructions (I still find that extremely annoying, though.).With BGT, uncompiled games were no problem. Just install BGT and you're good to go. With Python, you have to install every single library and all of its dependencies. You'll only even know what half of those are when you try to run it, so hopefully all of your users can manage every part of that. Someone's going on a pointlessly involved build quest, either way.So yeah. We can port anything to Python, so long as the sound and redist are taken care of.  ...  :'(

I mean, do we know that this will be an epic quest? We can't see the code, so how can we even know now? Really, let's just not buy this blind game, if we feel that it is overusing blind, or milking the "blind" stereotype for all that it is worth. In closed source terms, all we can do to send a message to the developers that this is unacceptable is to not buy low quality games. I know, I know, it's hard. Believe me, we've moved on to trying to beat video games because audio games are so few, and just look at Manamon Two for a great view of what happens when new games come out. But for these "blind" games, I submit that we should not buy it, as Souls of Levia has hopefully taught us that even audio games, for us blind people, can be of dreadful quality, and how a game presents itself is usually how it turns out, low quality trailer, cliche name, and a developer who doesn't fix bugs on older games, and who, indeed, has not update the Mac versions of their games, when they've had *years* to do so. We should not stand for this, and should not award such behavior with sales.

Also never heard of him, and still no idea who he was but must have been famous considering how crazy twitter is going over his death. I've always found it sad in general that people are so upset about the death of someone famous, but couldn't care less about most other people dying. Besides for the gap in knowing about it, I mean in cases where people do know about it, for example in this case according to what you say other people died in the same accident so clearly people know this happened, but yet everyone is only sad about the one particular individual.

I'd say play to your strengths and try to find a job that fits what you can do.  Maybe talk to a job coach or something or fill out some of those job placement surveys, making sure they know you want to work at home.  I believe their are ways to get this done in person for free if your blind, but yeah, it does take some time.Problem is, you don't seem to have the skills or environment necessary for most of those that don't require an existing career or at least a degree.  So that's why I suggest you get external help with placement.I'm sure you could also try some facebook groups, mailing lists, forums and sub reddits about this and see if you could get a better response.

The thing with entropy is in an isolated system it tends to increase over time in the system as a whole, even if it might decrease locally. The only way to decrease it is to increase it somewhere else. Our metabolism, all the reactions that keep us functioning and that keep our low entropy state in tact continuously increase entropy of the universe. In order to survive we keep having to break down molecules to release energy and heat, which increases entropy by more than the organisation of our bodies decreases it. Everything we build requires us to expend energy, and the same applies. No matter what we do to decrease entropy locally, in order to do it we have to increase entropy of the universe as a whole. And no matter how advanced we get in future, we probably won't be able to break the fundamental laws of physics. In order to get energy out of something you have to convert it from a higher energy state to a lower energy state. So not sure how we could ever keep stars burning indefinitely, if we want to get energy out of them it has to come from somewhere, and when that is used up it stops.Also, people seem to treat entropy as an almost mystical concept sometimes (not saying anyone here in particular did it, just in general) but it really isn't. Order is rare and exceptional because it is restricted to a few possible arrangements of the really large number of possible combinations particles can take. So disorder will naturally increase by chance, only because the universe has no regard for any particular arrangement, things will automatically just move randomly and take any possible configuration unless something acts on it to make it into a particular combination. Entropy can spontaneously decrease by itself, it's just very unlikely, and due to the much much larger number of disordered states compared to ordered states the over all trend will be towards disorder.Sorry I know this is pretty off-topic, just thought I'd mention this in light of the talk of entropy going on.

This isn't in the search feature, but it does defy sense as to how this could be missed. Using the manapedia shows five or six different places where Marlaunt can be found, not just Struttal Cave. Most of them are inside the big castle in Shadow Canyon.

hey guys, could someone tell me the last zone that apears in the manapedia where marlaunt can be found?I have completed the game, have complete manapedia, but today my girlfriend asked me if she can find marlaunt in another place than strutal cave because she is playing for the first time and she is trying to capture everething she fins. When I checked the manapedia it apears that marlaunt can be foun in one location that I have not visited, I don't really know where it can be. Just curious, of course.

Yeah I'm aware of the rape thing. Still pretty crazy though. Apparently helicopters are super dangerous and overused. They lose control easily. I don't try to get too morally involved with deaths since nobody really has control over death, you can still say RIP to someone who was a horrible person.

Nah, Bombusect is not bad. Wish it got Pest Pincer instead of Plague, and maybe Clobber or Death Thrash over just Black Bite or Limb Thrust...but no, not bad on the whole.Decent stats, low-ish but not god-awful HP, middling speed, decent typing that covers a lot of foes, plus some neat and nifty combos. This manamon was busted in the first gen, and in this gen it's definitely improved.Still say Aaron absolutely, no-doubt-about-it must allow for teachable moves, like, yesterday. I don't mean all moves for all manamon, but some sort of system that allows for far more customization than this. Because the game is perfectly playable in its current state, but that doesn't mean it's much fun.Beat the game with my team, BTW, at the 13 hour 16 minute mark. Bear in mind, that's not speed-optimized. A speed-runner could probably do this game in ten hours or less if they were precision-perfect.Placebot gets Frenzied Rage, of all things. That's neat.Garganchan tried to learn Blind Rush. Say no to Blind Rush; it's a terrible, awful, no-good, very bad move.Grandlan apparently wanted to learn Eclipse Rocket. Seriously, Aaron, why do you love Grandlan so much that you give it moves of almost every type in the game? Not all at once, of course, but here are the types Grandlan can cover, to one degree or another: standard, fighting, steel, magic, earth, stone, ice, flame, undead, ghost, shadow, electric and poison. And lest you think Grandlan is cheaping out, take a look at this, as far as type coverage goes: Claw Swipe, Mud Ball, Land Power, Metal Fist, Scourge Tail, Toxic Tail, Crystal Slash, Blaze Rampage, Tunnel, Aura Master, Meteor Rush, Zap Slam, Eclipse Rocket, Stone Crash, Piledriver. That's fifteen moves (admittedly, your high level Grandlan will not be using Claw Swipe) that it can choose from, and most of those are different types, and most of those are powerful enough to consider using. So okay, it gets no water moves, no insect moves, no holy moves, no plant moves, no air moves and no sound moves. But it does get Copy, which if you play your cards right can let you ape any one of those types temporarily. That is absolutely insane. It also gets an ability that boosts the damage from moves that aren't earth and magic. It also gets a line-specific piece of gear that boosts the damage of its non-earth non-magic moves. That is some vicious customization.. No stat boosts, debuffs or stat ailments? No problem. Take it from me; Grandlan has no problem absolutely murdering stuff in one or two hits, even without clay.And before you think I'm knocking on Grandlan, I'm absolutely not. Grandlan is amazing. Why can't the other 300 or so manamon in the game be equally versatile? Don't tell me that this is just Grandlan's gimmick, either, because this thing has the stats to be a one-trick pony with like Aura Master and Tunnel if it had to be...nothing mind-blowing, but absolutely no bad stats either. We're not talking versatility at the expense of good stats. This is a well-rounded manamon that has a ferocious amount of customization, and it just highlights how many dozens of others look awfully tiny and pale and pathetic by comparison.I really have to see what, if anything, Aaron did to Tarboo. It looks like the Tarboo I'm seeing in Manamon 2 are bulkier, and if that's the case, and if Tarboo gets more than Sound Wave and Audioblast for sound coverage, this guy could be fun. Still thought it was neat that level 1 Tarba gets freaking Earthquake. That's just funny.Everything else pretty much just did what it's supposed to. Oh, Sacraloon tried to get Full Moon Blessing. Another move to say no to. The loon really doesn't need its physical defense in the tank just to heal, and while its HP is good, it's not -that good. Looks like the more evidence I see related to this move and the manamon who get it, the more convinced I am that I was right about it when I called it out as too risky for viable play unless the AI is particularly derpy, which, let's be real, it kind of is, even in the final fights.

Okay, as I seem to be awake at weird times I'm just trying this now. I'm definitely liking how things are working, although I seem to be quite a ways through after a comparatively short time, still I gather there is a lot to discover with the various tasks, I also wouldn't be surprised if there is more to find after the game ends. I will admit I didn't quite get how fights work, mostly by not seeing the strength rating, so for anyone planning to play, make sure you check things out carefully, also remember that there are other benefits to working than getting cash, and unlike nano empire, things in this game don't seem to keep running unless you physically assign someone, or at least I don't think they do.One question I do have, is do the exclamation marks mean that a task will progress the story? I thought so but wasn't exactly sure. I also wonder what series this is based on. Thus far the text is sort of giving me a sort of children of the corn vibe, which is a good thing, though I'm guessing when a tv series  mentioned in the guide there is something specific in mind. Oh well, back to work I go.Edit: okay ignore my above comment on being only a short ways through. Whilst I guess there is a chicken out early ending, I didn't go for that one and things are definitely getting interesting, albeit  a chance combat knocked me out of the game for 15 minutes, though since in 15 minutes my auto timers will probably have let me progress more in other areas, this isn't quite as dire as it sounds. I am also guessing that I might still! not be on the endgame, given the stupidly high stats of one encounter I ran into, unless that's just intended as a wandering hazard. Whilst I don't think this one will quite satisfy the desire of people who wanted a farm game, as a really interesting story with incremental elements and lots to explore in the vane of Nano empire, this one should definitely hit the spot.Edit the second: Yee gods this game is waaay! longer than I thought, and there is so much to discover it's not funny.Again I might or might not be coming up on one of the endings, but I'm not sure, since it'll take a lot of resources. The only thing I do not like, is the actual clicking mechanic of the work button, and that is more to do with the way Ios handles taps with voiceove. When playing an incremental game on pc with a click mechanic, it's easy enough to hammer a keyboard key down and get a good quick click rate. However with voiceover, since you need to double tap or split tap to activate buttons, your rate is either slower or more clunky (when I try split tapping, i always seem to end up either hitting too many times or taps not registering). I do gather that for each hit of the work button, you do 2x the value required, EG if you have 20 strength, you'll do 40 per click, as opposed to your companions who do 1x value per second. Whilst your various production values in the game change, the percentage increase from clicking does not. It'd be nice if there was an option (say in option settings), to have the work button do a greater amount of total value clicks on a slower timer. I don't know what most people's average is, but say have   5 x value on a 2 second timer, that way instead of trying to hammer away like a lunatic clicking the button, or double tap slowly, you could just tap in a regular rhythm at a couple of seconds and get a similar rate of increase, which would be much  comfortable on the fingers. Perhaps, if this couldn't be part of the game's upgrades, this could be added as an option, since I don't imagine it'd be too hard to add? Either way, really looking forward to finishing the game, though goodness knows when that will be, really this one is like the magic tree, it just keeps on growing .

I'd honestly literally never heard of this guy before today. But...A reminder that some people just... aren't worth feeling sad about if this actually happened, and that famous individuals are not by any means paragons, and should not be above the law.His daughter, and the other passengers of that helicopter? People ceasing to be stupid, both individually, and by allowing the largest amount of power to be held by the stupidist of people for stupid reasons, and decisions, both on a smaller interpersonal scale, and on a larger scale be based on actually trying to help people and get on with each other, rather than the relative loudness to stupidity ratio of everyone involved. Unfortunately, such an alteration would require a fundamental change in both the way humans work individually, and the way humans distribute power and responsibility  among themselves, so i doubt I will be seeing it any time soon. Okay, as I seem to be awake at weird times I'm just trying this now. I'm definitely liking how things are working, although I seem to be quite a ways through after a comparatively short time, still I gather there is a lot to discover with the various tasks, I also wouldn't be surprised if there is more to find after the game ends. I will admit I didn't quite get how fights work, mostly by not seeing the strength rating, so for anyone planning to play, make sure you check things out carefully, also remember that there are other benefits to working than getting cash, and unlike nano empire, things in this game don't seem to keep running unless you physically assign someone, or at least I don't think they do.One question I do have, is do the exclamation marks mean that a task will progress the story? I thought so but wasn't exactly sure. I also wonder what series this is based on. Thus far the text is sort of giving me a sort of children of the corn vibe, which is a good thing, though I'm guessing when a tv series  mentioned in the guide there is something specific in mind. Oh well, back to work I go.Edit: okay ignore my above comment on being only a short ways through. Whilst I guess there is a chicken out early ending, I didn't go for that one and things are definitely getting interesting, albeit  a chance combat knocked me out of the game for 15 minutes, though since in 15 minutes my auto timers will probably have let me progress more in other areas, this isn't quite as dire as it sounds. I am also guessing that I might still! not be on the endgame, given the stupidly high stats of one encounter I ran into, unless that's just intended as a wandering hazard. Whilst I don't think this one will quite satisfy the desire of people who wanted a farm game, as a really interesting story with incremental elements and lots to explore in the vane of Nano empire, this one should definitely hit the spot.

to go back to what I wrote earlier: like most people I have ups and downs in my life. I've nearly died on several occasions, I dated a millionaire for about 4 years and we were engaged until that all went wrong. interestingly, people say money can't buy you happiness, and for her, it couldn't. for me I was the happiest i'd ever been but I think that was more to do with being with her and being able to live the nice lifestyle in florida. but when that came to an end it was like having the metaphorical rug pulled out from under my feet. took a while but I got back up and I learned from it. and I live to see what happens next. I've told that to people who are feeling down in the past who say they don't know what to carry on for, sometimes hinting at thinking of ending it all and my answer is don't you want to know what happens next? to you? to your friends who care about you? your family?life is a book and you have to read it all the way through.

I see that this is a sidescroller, where I can in most parts walk not only right or left but up and down, so so I want to see somethink like camera in bokurano 3 where I will check my surrounding,. Also, for those who want to begin a translation, or colaborate with others on it. There is a file called tts.txt in the data folder. You can add translation using the folowing format:chinese text = language textwhere language is whatever language you like; English, Polish, Spanish, German, whatever. Then go into options and turn on the use dictionary function. This will work but you need to copy each line of text in the game manually and then add it to the tts file. I'll be lad to lok up translations and help, but I can't do it by hand the way I am doing for other games at the moment.

This developer uses an old developing environment. Download all the visual redists justin case is what I would recommend. The game is just like Battle of Armageddon in that it takes a lot of patience and the camp will likely be divided, not including myself. There are some who find it designed in a way as to be super frustrating because of how difficult it is, and there are those who don't care. I like the concept, again, but there are things I would change.@nuno or anyone else who gets past this part, how the hell am I supposed to get a wolf pelt if one, I can't kill anything, and two, if other players keep going after the same target? The first mission should at least be easier...

Porting from any language to any other language means completely rewriting the code, so it would not only take someone with a lot of programming experience, but also the original source code of the game to be ported. If the game is not open source and the porting is to be done by someone other than the developer(s), the degree to which the game can be ported at all, and the faithfulness of the resulting port to the original, totally depend on the game. For instance, someone could probably do a pretty faithful port of Super Liam to a modern language since the game areas are static E.G. not randomized. For a more complex game like, for instance, any of the VGStorm games, any attempted port would be less faithful to the original because even if you've played every possible part of the game, there's still bound to be many things that cannot be known without the source code.

having multiple antivirus programs on the same system is generally a bad idea in the first place, and I'm not aware if you can have a different antivirus load for different users or not.that said, I use NOD32 antivirus, and it doesn't flag BGT games as malware. I occasionally run Malwarebytes just in case, but it doesn't automatically delete things. Strangely, it thinks Survive The Wild and Table Flipper are anomalous, but not Crazy Party.

@16 Is HyperV enabled on your system? Haven't used Windows in years, but when I did, HyperV had to be disabled to use VirtualBox. It would sometimes re-enable itself, which IIRC caused my VMs to not boot.This may have been resolved since, or maybe there's some way to configure Vagrant to not use VBox and to instead use HyperV. You'd have to google to find how to disable it, though I think it was in the area to enable/disable Windows features. It also may or may not block use of WSL, so you may want to investigate your options.

Sure, I'm not really a people person, but because I'm human, I still require some level of social interaction. The difference is I don't actively run around talking to absolutely everyone. I don't connect with many people for various reasons, many of which boil down to I'm not interested in you. That's not to say that individual is bad or anything, I'm just very selective as to whom I choose to associate with. I like to call myself selectively social, not antisocial as some people might say.Going back to the point, is that what you really want? I love reading topics like these where we can come together and share ideas. Yes, there might be some things I say or someone else says that you might not like, but that's what happens when you have a bunch of people. You'll get different opinions.Finally, the Internet is wonderful! I can talk to anyone, at any time, from anywhere on the planet. I have access to more information than ever before. That's beyond awesome! I don't really have local friends because quite honestly, I can't find a lot of decent people to meet in person. I find I don't really care though, as I can literally talk to anyone from anywhere at any time. Interacting with the personality is more than enough social interaction for me, so unless I'm having sex with someone or want to do something else that requires a physical presence, it doesn't matter if we're in the same room or halfway across the globe. I'm still interacting with the personality, and that's all I need in most cases.As for a creator, I don't know. Believe in whatever you want to believe in, but the concept of God has never made sense to me. Maybe I read too much fantasy, but it all seems like someone's version of fantasy. There is no solid proof that God exists. It is more of an idea that people cling to. Maybe it makes some feel better, and that's fine. I don't personally buy it for a variety of reasons, not the least of which includes what makes God supreme? What created the creator? If we find that out, then we must ask who created the creator that created God's creator, and so on. How can something exist just because if everything else is somehow created. As I always say, there's so much we don't know about the universe.

It does kind of make me wonder how easy it would be to port BGT games over to python. Is that something a regular user with no coding knowledge could do easily enough? With the death of 32 bit computers coming in about eight years, or what I believe is eight years anyway, the change will have to be done at some point. I’m just uncertain how difficult it would be.

Hi.At Dan_Gero oi, well, it doesn't mean that the developers are trying to send out viruses of any kind, but you can't deny that this is a security risc, you go and say hey, don't worry about this folder, even if something comes through, just go and ignore.I won't have games on my main system where I need to add an acception to an anti Virus program, so I have them running on another computer and not in my home wifi network.Greetings Moritz.

As I've said before, I just created a folder on my hd called audiogames, made that folder an exception to windows defender, and installed stuff there, end of story.Yes, it's annoying that windows defender is stupid about BGT, but it's not the end of the world or a major problem at all, or a reason to stop playing perfectly decent games either. Not sure about other antiviruses, but really any antivirus which cannot respect an exceptions folder or let you deal with false positives isn't worth using anyway.

@omer, at the risk of sounding like a conceited hotshot which I assure you is not my intent, I dabble in just about everything, save politics which bore me, and programming which frustrates me.  My fortes ,or at least my favorite hobbies are voice work, audio production and sound design, music, writing about and researching on various fields ranging from tech to gaming, to the religious and philosophical, and I don't mind experimenting beyond all of these things.  I've been in wrestling and martial arts, played a game or two of soccer, done my fair share of bicycling, rollerblading and skateboarding, found out I was not all that good at swimming a straight line but still love it all the same, and when I'm not doing any of these things or writing on this forum, I'm raising four children.Besides being having moderated this forum in the past I've contributed hundreds if not thousands of hours of community service throughout the state of Texas and some of central Florida, have been paid for gigging and colaborating with other musicians and bands, have turned down record labels because I didn't feel like being the corporate puppet, and met a former president of the United States.What post one neglected to mention is that at present all I have where music and sound are concerned is an acoustic guitar, a cheap dynamic cartioid mic and a decent mixer, a Yamaha MG XU, to be precise.  Not much you can do with that little bit of equipment, but I still manage to have fun all the same.

You should check out the OSL-3.0 -- it may suit your needs a bit better and you won't be making contributors uncomfortable (you do know that many don't like the GPL/LGPL/AGPL because of their stances). If your going to go with the GPL and friends, you should probably go with GPL 2.0, not 3.0. As for OSL 3.0, there's a very good summary of the license here that outlines the problems with the GPL and the OSL's way of solving those issues.In some ways I like the GPL/LGPL/AGPL... they're fine licenses. Butin some cases they're also very trivial for corporations to misuse or abuse.
