[Audyssey] jaws scrypts for westfront PC
Hi I've just started playing westfront PC & the only thing that I don't like about it is that every time I enter in a new command and jaws reads its output, it reads information at the top of the window like my character's level, hp etc Is there a jaws scrypt to stop jaws from reading the top part of the window when there is new output? hey dark, you are correct. the only reagents which are hard to come by are astrals. those are used for more complex spells, not your every day ones. now, resurrecting costs an astral as do a couple others but the main use for them is to resurrect someone. some mobs have astrals which randomly repop on them. when you are an archon, you get them more frequently from killing hunters. heh, archons need to stock them so they can help fellow archons who die from a hunter. lol Kellie and my lovable Lady J. it is a matter of timing. I don't know how to best explain it though. basically, you should start your casting of a spell at the beginning of a round so that it ends after it. If you do it in the middle then you mess up your next round and will lose an attack and defense as well. Another thing to note is that some spells are 2 second while other are 3 or 4 second spells. each round is 3 seconds. so if you cast a 3 second spell, like iceball or harm at the beginning of the round you will see the finishing casting message right before your next round begins. it is a matter of practice. Thanks, I'll give you a yell. I'm level 8 at the second, so stil in Lasler, but I'd like to complete some quests before I leave rather than just slaughter my way to lvl 10. Right now, I'm trying to find some pixi dust to fight the creature under the lake for the grieving woman, kill that blasted dryad in the caverns for the second leaf (I did at least find the damnable thing, but it killed me), and find the Dragon in the woods for the third leaf, -- which is the thing I'm having most trouble with thus far as I can't find any sort of pathway in the woods I haven't explored yet, and all the people i've asked just say it's on the western edge of the forest and give me a link to graphical maps, so some assistance there would be appreciated indeed. admittedly playing a paladin I don't need many reagents, but it does seem that a lot of the common ones such as elemental reagents, --- earth, water, air and fire, may either just be picked up or randomly bought, it's only the specific ones like Astrel which i believe are hard to come by. As I said, I've only just started in the game, and being a paladin I just have one spell which requires reagents, but this is the way it seems from reading help sections etc. Beware the Grue! Hmm I've tried this game before, but I can never seem to get started good, I don't know why. Anyone have any suggestions for someone who isn't a loner, likes the magic end of things, and likes rp? and also possibably good alignment. hi Sd. The thing that interested me in the game was the quest system. You get set up quests from npcs, as I suppose would happen in any other mud, but also random quests assigned by specific characters, which earn you points for specific rewards. I liked the idea of both. there's pvp in certain defigned areas, pluss some pvp arena battles and the likefor those who want it, but it's not enforced. Other than the issues I mentioned, I'm enjoying the game thus far, lots of space to explore and not bad descriptions. Pluss you don't just get one character class, when you've maxed out one class in the fighter, mage, rogue or clerric sets, you get a second one to play with and so on until you've got one of all four.
