So our King Irfan Raani is back!! (after quiet a long gap on the GB mail list)
 
Yeah the first thing I too expect from Irfy Amma is about Films gossips or not mistaken again - it has to be about the Jr. Bachaaa of Bachhan Family. Seems if given a chance Our Irfy Raani would surely go without a second thought with Abhi Babes.
Yeah the Dus Title Song is indeed a Treat in both senses - Visual as well as audio! Kudos to Abhi Babes for working so hard on all his upcoming films & trying to keep up his Father's inherited properties or culture.
I even liked Paheli but its too slow in its story pace. The pirated CDs available here in Gulf always lead to a sheer KLPD by the End of the film & thats what it did with Paheli as usual.
All the climax main story was literally missing or cut & I just saw Rani M embracing the Bhhoot Shahruck by the end!! ( Lolzz!!)
About Sarkar, I dont wana say anything as its just another RGV Flip from his book of imaginations. The guys in 'D' was cool (Randeep Hooda) but I thought I was seeing another Satya or Company by the end of the film.
About Shahruck Khan, he has yet to get along well & yeah he has to stop being there in each film with the same Rani, Preity, Juhi or the as I think his Group of Chosen lots!!
I wont be surprised if one day I see our Karan (Johar) Baaji acting as his lead heroine in her, Ohh Sorry his own made film...
So, be4 Karan deedi or Irfy Mama gets bugged I will say Alvidaa...
Waise to to Kabhie Alvidaa Naa kahnaa shuld work the Tricks again!! (hope so)

... quite long but it's nice and worth reading My cellphone's beeping sound woke me up one night.Used to receiving important messages only, I grabbed my cell and sleepily pushed the keys and read the message."Hi there! Care 2 b my txtmate?" Not knowing who the sender was, I deleted the message right away and placed the phone on my bedside table, I tried to go back to sleep.I had just closed my eyes when I heard the message tone again."Hi there, again! Care 2 b my txtmate?" again, the message said."Who the hell could this be asking for a txtmate at the wee hours of thenight?" I asked myself. Again, without bothering to reply I deleted the message.I was never a 'textmaniac', someone who enjoys texting anyone and everyoneeven at the wee hours
of night, not to mention during the day. My parents,who were always out of the country forced me to own a cellphone. They toldme that having one was more convenient they could monitor me even ifthey're miles away.I wanted to turn the unit off, but since my mother was fond of calling meat night, just to check if I was safe at home, I decided not to.Just as I was to close my eyes and return to my dreamless sleep, the phone beeped again.Same number? Taste the sweetness of salty coffee ..?!...Farhan met Sameer on a party. Sameer was so outstanding, many guys chasing after him, while Farhan was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited Sameer to have coffee with him, Sameer was surprised, but due to his politeness, he promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, Farhan was too nervous to say anything, Sameer felt uncomfortable, Sameer thought, please, let me go home.. suddenly Farhan asked the waiter: "would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it
in my coffee." Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. Sameer asked him curiously: why you have this hobby? Farhan replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there". While saying that tears filled his eyes. Sameer was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home.. Then Sameer also started to speak, spoke about his faraway hometown, his childhood, his family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date.
Sameer found that actually Farhan was a man who met all his demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but Sameer almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time Sameer made coffee for him, he put some salt in the coffee, as Sameer knew that's the way he liked it. After 40 years, Farhan passed away,he left Sameer a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie
to you for anything.. Now I'm dying, Im afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again". Sameers tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked Sameer: what's the taste of salty coffee? It's sweet. He replied. Pass this to everyone coz: Love is not to forget but to forgive not to see, but understand not to hear but to listen not to let go, but HOLD ON Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear. Love deeply,and passionately,you might get hurted but it is the only way to live your life

MAN: "Oh! it happened in the garden where I was sitting under a tree" DOCTOR (in anger): "No, no you IDIOT! I mean on which part of your body did that bee sting." MAN (still screaming in pain): "On my finger! The bee stung me on my finger and it really hurts" DOCTOR (banging his fist, abusing and shouting): "Which one?" MAN (innocently): "How am i to know? All bees look the same to
me."
Two morons are trying to measure a telephone pole. They keep trying to climb it and keep sliding down. Along comes this really big, musclebound shmuck and says, "Hey, what are you guys doing?" The two idiots say, "We're trying to measure the height of this pole." The schmuck wraps his arms around the pole, pulls it out of the ground, lays it down and measures it. Then he picks it up, puts it back in the ground, says "40 feet" and walks away. The first moron says to the other, "What a stupid idiot - we wanted the height, not the width."

I read last weeks here that her voice suited  the naughty Saira Banu perfectly!
Yeah & I felt that when I heard the song Dil Vir Pyaar Vyaar.. Mai Kyaa Jaanu rey..
from Shagirdh Movie starring Saira & Joy mukherji ( I guess )
Well to start with, the song itself starts on a Naughty tickling line which me & my friend still tease eachother with!! 
ie: Aiyaaa!! so wonderfully & naughtily sung by our Lata Baai.
Saira Banu has danced very well & has indeed matched the song perfectly.
So, here is AIYAAA..from me to all of you.
How many have heard this lovely song?? if not then do hear it once & yeah do hear it right from the beginning with that captive line .Aiyaa!!

Two sardarjis (Prajees) were friends. They used to go together in office by bus. One day one of them was waiting for the other at the bus stop. Suddenly the other one came on a BIKE (Hero Honda). First one asked "waa! Prajee!!
Kammal ho gaya. Kiska bike Leke aayya?
Second one told " Arre ! Lottery Lag Gayi. First one said " Mujhe batao yaar, phir mein bhi loonga " He started telling "Arre yesterday late night I was coming from a friend's home.
It was so late that I couldn't catch any bus, auto. After some time one BIKE was coming.
So I asked for lift. That person asked me "where do u want to go?" I told, "wherever u want." by that time I recognised that THE BIKE WALA was a girl not boy.
She drove fast and stopped at an ultra SUNSAN JAGAHA. She put off her helmet first. And then clothes lastly. She was totally clothless...
Then she told " Le! tujhe jo mangta hai woh le le" I took the BIKE and ran away.
First Sardarji said "Arre! Accha Kiya Yaar.. ! nahi to ladkiyon ke kapde apne kis kaamke?"

U say - Love is Blind.. Yes I also know that dear, but then we are 
living in this world where such blindness only causes pain to ourselves. I very 
well understand what feelings & agony U have gone thru' & are still going thru'.


If possible just meet him once & talk to him openly.Kill yourself only ONCE, 
instead of killing U everyday! Take all that gutts & will-power in U & disclose 
the love U have for him. May be if GOD wants he will also reciprocate what U 
really long for.

I have a feeling he wants U to say it first.( I may be wrong too )
Mahesh my dear, life is short(ask me), Live it well or else one has to repent 
after it has gone away from our own hands by our own saintly delays.

a jeansI could see fine  drizzling droplets of rain on his shiny hair and a 
day old stuble on his prognathic jaw...That kind of a profile (called class 3) 
looks good on some people...well thats a dental point of view... He had a 
perplexed look on his face ,probably he was finding the right person to share a 
seat with...I had a seat vacant next to me but he did not pay any heed to my 
offering! I had liked him at that very moment...after the class I tried to find 
him but he was out of view..


A couple of days later he sat next to me and my heart skipped a beat! We began 
talking generally and thats when I figured out that we shared the same 
surname...No we were not cousins! but there was some really entangling relation 
which i still cannot understandfrom his mothers side...

Thats how we began hanging out and spending time togetherI just liked being 
with him...I had found a new incentive to come to college! He was all alone and 
had no siblings,and it was me who was so very wanting "male-love"...I might 
sound a little vulgar by saying so but dont get me wrong...I wanted a strong 
shoulder to cry on, strong arms and chest wherein I could just crash...I warm 
hug,I was craving(and continue to do so) for a intimacy that I have never 
got from my FatherHe had everything I wanted besides he liked me a lot and 
he had said to me that he did find me "cute"and I was so flattered.I had 
come to know that he had a girlfriend and that he has had a recent break-up!


The entire college was talking about our friendshipThey called 
us"counter-parts" of each other.I never liked him talking about other girls, I 
was being so possesive.I could not think of a day without him...As days 
were passing by we were getting more and more closer...He did kiss me on my 
cheek and used to hug me often
Then I got an admission finally, in Mumbai and I was in tears because I was 
going to loose his warmth and touch...I carried with me his photographs, gifts, 
infact I carried the same perfume he used, It was...Aqua-cool...for me to feel 
his fragrance when i missed him...The fragrance that mesmerized memade me 
forget pain


I always used to visit him whenever I came home...I found out that we were no 
longer that close now...maybe he was not understanding me...I was in Love with 
him...How could he Love me?He was straight.he was going to be happy with a 
girlI actually played the cupid and tried to fix him up with the girl he 
likedwhy? because I wanted him to be happy

Once he had come to my house to spend the night and we were sleeping on the 
same bedI dont know how...but i SMOOCHED HIM.Oh god! He was 
zapped...He did not react repulsively but he went to sleep...I was filled with 
guilt and fear...i

I havent seen Umbarathaa yet! (so sad) Smita Patil (see her movie Pet pyar aur 
paap in hindi)has always been my best actress along with Padmini 
Kolhapure.. will try to see it when Im in India later. But I did see 
Syaamchi Aai, a long time ago.. I only remember the title but the 
memories of the film still dont come up properly in my mind (am I getting OLD)!!
Hey can U get me the Bhajan of Lata in Marathi: Arun ugavalaa Pahaat Zhaali.. 
Uthh Maha Ganpati... if you can get hold of this soulfull bhajan, then 
plss try to send it to me by Mps attachement thru email. (thanks in advance).

I am also a big time fan of marathi language and literature. I do enjoy 
watching some marathi movies but not many. I LOVED "ashi hi banava banavi" 
movie very much. Sachin, lakshya, sushant and ashok saraf are great in this 
movie. I recently purchased couple of marathi vcd's from India. Shyamachi aai, 
umbaratha, samana are worth watching. Umbartha is one movie worth mentioning as 
it has a lesbian shot and issue handled in it. Smita Patil fights with the 
discrimination with lesbian couple in the jail. I thought that was a daring 
step to even address the issue for that time (1980-81) in a marathi movie. 

I would request others on this list to share movies from their own native 
languages which are worth watching. India has such a good diversity of 
languages and cultures and I wish to enjoy these from other languages as well. 
If those movies have subtitles in English we all can enjoy them.

A tale of Two...Friends~~
Karan and Sohail are sitting alone in the park one night
Karan: I guess we are the left overs in this world
Sohail: I think so...All of my friends have boyfriends and we are only the 2 persons left in this world with out any special person in our life
Karan: Yup I don't know what to do
Sohail: I know! We'll play a game
Karan: What game?
Sohail: I¡¦ll be your Boy-friend for 30 days and you will be my boy friend as well.
Karan: That's a great plan in fact I don't have nothing to do much this following weeks...
DAY 1:
They watch their first movie and they both touched in a romantic film
DAY 4:
They went to the beach and have a picnic...Karan and Sohail have their quality time together
DAY 12:
Karan invited Sohail to a circus and they ride on a Horror House Sohail was scared and he touched Karan's hand but he touched someone else's hand and they both laughed...
DAY 15:
They saw a fortune teller down the road and they asked for their future advice and the fortune teller said: "My darling, Please don't waste the time of your life...Spend the rest of your time together happily" Then tears flow out from the teller's eyes
DAY 20:
Sohail invited Karan to go to the hill and they saw a meteor... Sohail mumbled something
DAY 28:
They sat on the bus and because of a bumby road Sohail gave his first kiss to Karan by
accident
DAY 29:

Sohail and Karan sat in the park where they first decided to play this game...
Karan: I'm tired Sohail...Do you want any drinks? I'll buy you one..I'll just go down the road
Sohail: Apple Juice that's all
Karan: Wait for me
20mins later... a stranger approached Sohail
Stranger: Are you a friend of Karan?
Sohail: Why yes? What happened?
Stranger: A reckless drunken driver ran over Karan and he is critical in the hospital

The doctor went out of the emergency room and he handed out an apple juice and a letter
Doctor: We found this in Karan's pocket
Sohail reads the letter and it says:
Sohail, These past few days, I realized you are a really cute Man and I am really falling for you..Your cherish smile, your everything when we played this game. Before this game would end...I wouldlike you to be my Soul Mate for the rest of my life
I love you Sohail
Sohail crumples the paper and shouted:
"Karan ! I don't want you to die... I love you...Remember that night when we saw a meteor, I mumbled something... I mumbled that I wish we would be together forever and never end this game. Please don't leave me Karan I love you! You cannot do this to me!"
Then the clock strikes 12
Karan's heart stopped pumping

Yes "Ashi Hi Banva Banvi" is really worth a Watch. (but for Marathi Humor loving guys only)
I had seen it several years be4 (maybe 8 or so) at Plaza Theatre in Dadar & I think it starrs Ashok Saraf, Late Laxmikant Berde & about the heroine ..hmmm if Im not mistaken it was Varsha Usgaonkar's first Intro movie??? (plss clear if someone has seen this movie)
I did love it that time of the Era, but I think now it wont have the Gammat (means Fun in marathi) as be4, or as I said be4 only see it if you like the typical marathi comedy.
Malaa tar faar Aavadlees...Tumhee loka swathaah baghun ghyaa aani nantar saanga!!
(I loved it, but U guys see it for yourselves & then say)
But not to forget, I did love Ashok Saraf & Savita Prabhune's Kharaa Vaarasdaar! It is based on our Hindi Ram & Shyaam theory.
Did love Savita's acting in it & I think she did get a award for that film!!

PS: I love marathi language & movies a lot, somehow I like the charm in its literature.
I still cant forget watching Sant Dyaaneshwar on the Black & white TV at home on saturday evenings during those Old B/W movie days..or in my childhood days!
What a treat to hear that good & lovabe Marathi those days.
Thanks a millions to Shri late V. Shantaram & others who kept it ALIVE & took it Ahead.
I dont get a chance to watch any marathi movie here in Saudi arabia (am Sad) :(
anyways something is better than nothing..

Hey G,
Just to ATTACH any type of file/Docs, just click on compose, then click on Attach Files, it will ask U which file to attach from your PC. Just hunt that file or Document & say Attach... Follow the steps ahead as it will automatically guide you accordingly... & finally you can send the document/File by filling in all the other reqd fields in the mail & there goes your mail to anyone.
But if you are posting this WORD doucment or any file to GB, then the Whole RIGHTS of posting it or no, Rest with the Group Moderator, who will check it out & if its fine, then He will surely post it in our Group. ( I hope am right Dear moderator?)
One more thing you can do for word document is just copy the whole word doucment & then just paste it on Yahoo mail & send it. That will make things easier for you as well as the moderator or any person who doesnt have his/her Personal PC!!
Hope this makes things faster & easier for you

classifieds editor might post in the appropriate digests...remember  to 
differentiate your advts for 'assistants' who really do a job from those who  
are hired for a purpose...if you can read between my lines.. 

Now as to your companionship/employment needs let's discuss  this over 
afternoon tea at the Leyla Palace on Airport Road in Bangalore...it  appears 
the western influence has made them very. very friendly to people  like 
us...though I have never had a prob doing my sort of business in any Indian

A Sweet Love Story
One of the most touching and purest love story I've read in a whilst..
From the very beginning, girl's family objected strongly on her dating this guy, saying that it has got to do with family background, & that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.
Due to family's pressure, the couple quarrelled very often. Though the girl loved the guy deeply, she always asked him: "How deep is your love for me?"
As the guy is not good with his words, this often caused the girl to be very upset. With that & the family's pressure, the gal often vent her anger on him. As for him.. he only endured it in silence.
After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the gal: "I'm not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I'll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?"
The girl agreed, & with the guy's determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged.
The gal went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls.
Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up.
One day, while the gal was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. when she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed.
She
realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum cry, she wanted to comfort her. But she rea! lized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. she had lost her voice
The doctor says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents' comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital, besides silent cry..
it's
still just silent cry that accompanied her. Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone which pierced into her heart everytime it rang. She does not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.
With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply and countless phonecalls.. all the gal could do besides crying is still crying T! he parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy.
With a new environment, the gal learnt sign language & started a new life.
Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend came & told her that he's back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn't anymore news of him.
A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing an invitation card for the guy's wedding. The gal was shattered. When she opened the letter, she saw her name on it instead. When she was about to ask her friend what was going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her
He used sign language to tell her, "I've spent a year to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I've not forgotten our promise. Let me have the! chance to be your voice. I Love You." With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The gal finally smiled..

How cum Personal ADs still keep POURING in the GB mails group??? Plss take a 
close look at this & keep them away as as said again & again from time to time

Hi Sahil

While I agree that there have been a steady increase in the number of personal 
adv, gay_bombay@yahoogroups.com has always allowed personal advertisments. i do 
edit the advertisments at times because sometimes the content is too crude

What i can do is make a digest of all personal advertisments which i did for 
some time but dropped it because it was difficult for me to handle so many mails

even on the www.gaybombay.info site i stopped the advertisments after it was 
flooded with suggestive and lewd advertisments. i need to revive that as well. 
there i guess, i will put it under moderation as well.

i am not one of those who think that personal advertisements should not be 
allowed on a list. after all, many of us seek friends/mates, don't we?

A married couple went to have their baby delivered.Upon their arrival,the doctor said he had invented anew machine that would transfer a portion of themother's labor pain to the baby's father.
