Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)
Hi Philippe and everyone, just figured out that this great plugin does not work anymore on my side, too :-( First issue I got: ProtocolHandler::__ANON__ (872) 403 Forbidden. Afer setup a new YouTube API key and deleting the LMS cache the search works again but starting a stream leads after a few seconds w/o any sound to following: ProtocolHandler::__ANON__ (422) no stream/DASH found. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)
Hi everybody, I like the plugin very much but since the previous update (I guess) I get "empty" as response for every search. Only the "recent played" list offers a result with tracks which I still can access and play. Just the cover is not shown in the playback (but in the list). I already created a new project and API key but no success. I'm running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.4 on QNAP NAS (armv7l-linux). Any Ideas to get this fixed? That made it convenient to wipe and touch the cache.db file as you recommended. Apparently, that is all that was needed as I can now access spotty as normal. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty broken: can't Add Account
I notice that in that one you suggest that LSM 7.7 is too old, although it has been running successfully for many months for me. Apologies I don't know the difference between spotty helper and new Spotty plugin but many users have experienced sudden odd problems because some internet services changeover from http to https overnight without warning. LMS 7.7.* cannot handle modern TLS https services and so you will get problems for example accessing LMS plugin repositories. I don't think this has been a problem with Spotty (yet). But I'd strongly recommend to update LMS anyway. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
2.5.2 is a bug fix release. Version 2.5.0 Included the following : NEW FEATURES: - Live streams added to "Stations & Schedules" - Live Programme as a "Track" in LMS allowing the standard squeezebox controls to be used for rewind/fast forward/seeking the current live programme. The new version 2.52 fixes the following bug fix : BUG FIXES: - 'Skip to next track not handled correctly on live streams' (https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin/issues/28) The skip back and skip next buttons should now behave correctly on the live streams. Skip back (single press on the rewind button the radio) will send you to the start of the current programme (regardless of when you started listening). Skip next (single press on the fast forward button the radio) will send you to the start of the next programme if its available. OR return you to the current live broadcast point (making it a quick way of returning to live if you have skipped back either by seeking or going to the start of the programme. 2.5.2 is in the beta repository now and will be in the stand repository in the next refresh (in a couple of hours I think) expectingtofly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63263 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Well apparently they need to have the metadata to justify all the money they have/are spending on "Sounds", and because everybody else does it :) One can complain and rail against it (thousands have) but the Beeb just ignores all complaints. One either accepts it, or doesn't, it's the individual's choice  Man in a van's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=43627 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113268 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Causing it just to attempt to sit there until the programme is due to start! What should happen is that it should only allow you to skip to the next programme if it doesn't start in the future. "Man in a van" s workaround works for now. However it is likely you are being more aggressively tracked by any streaming service you might be using. IIRC BBC just wants an email address and age. - they're mainly after demographics & usage to get more money from Govt. You can only take so many precautions. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Very nice, great upgrade seems to be working pretty well. One thing I've noticed, playing a live stream via material, I can skip to start of program (quick press on REV button) or skip back a bit (long press on REV). If I quick press the FWD button it causes the stream to stop and I can't resume playback except by changing to another stream. Of course I understand that I can't skip into the future (as good as this plugin is, I assume it's not a time machine!), but the stream hanging might need a small tidy up. Other than that, very nice indeed. location 1: lms 8.0 on win 10 brix server, x2 sb radios, x1 touch, x1 controller : location 2: lms 8.0 on win 10 brix server, x2 sb radios, x1 duet receiver, x1 controller : alexa mediaserver smart skill, material android, squeezelitex control staresy's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=807 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
