Are you sure about that, Michael? I just tested again and added a song to one of my Spotify playlists, using the LMS web UI (default skin). If I open the Spotify app it appears in the Playlist. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty 4.6.1 kills LMS 8.1.1 (container)
I have a container running LMS 8.1.1 and recently I tried enabling the Spotty 6.4.1 plugin. As soon as I restart the LMS to enable the plugin, it completely stops responding. I was able to wait it out once and get my Spotify credentials entered, and even played a few songs. But now it just locks up the LMS and nothing can connect to it. If I restart the container, I have about a minute to get into the setting and disable the Spotty plugin before the system locks again. Any ideas? Thanks. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LMS + Spotify App: pause play controls not working properly
To summarise what I am seeing. When using Connect pausing does seem to work for short tracks in that playback does pause and resume correctly and the correct track times are displayed in LMS. Seeking within a track also works in Connect. The only issue is the time bar in the Spotify app jumps to the end of the track and stays there while the time still increases beyond the maximum track time. The situation is different for long tracks. In this case the track time bar jumps forward when pausing in the Spotify app, but it doesn't jump to the end. [21-09-30 08:59:58.5058] Plugins::BBCSounds::ProtocolHandler::__ANON__ (720) Setting Title to In Our Time - The Tenant of Wildfell Hall It is 2 seconds before the official start of the programme - which could be an issue with the accuracy of the time on the LMS server (Raspberry Pi with once a day ntp sync). If the schedule shows that the programme starts at 09:00:00 then maybe the code has matched it with the previous programme to get the duration. Is this how it should be? In my case the song doesn't get added to the Spotify playlist. eindgebruiker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10427 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114836 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Would you mind sharing your settings to give me a head start in getting this going? Yes! If I let a track play for a while then pause and resume work from the correct place no jumping ahead to a different place in the audio. However I was confused by the track timing indicator which does still jump forward usually to the end and then counts up past the duration of the song when you resume play. So my mistake (sorry!) was when checking yesterday I was hitting pause straight away to see what happened :( Letting the song play for 10-15 secs, then pause and resume work in the correct place in the audio. Thanks very much! (The track time indicator though moves to the end and track time counts up from duration of song.) 35845 +---+ |Filename: spotty example.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35845| +---+ gegen's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41137 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=115202 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
