Found the solution for anyone in same issue, the instructions for the developer screens is out of date and I've never really used that google developer area... all i had to do was goto https://developers.google.com/youtube/v3/ whilst logged into with me developer account, and enable the api from there, apparently just creating credentials as per the instructions does not work unless I do :) * harrys wrote: > Hi, none of the searches or any options work, just give an "empty" > measage, getting this error in my logs... > > any ideas please? > > youtube plugin version is: (v0.143.0) > > also tried to refresh my oath credentials but clicking on "get code" > or "refresh" does nothing with nothing in logs > > server details > > Version: 8.2.0 - 1627922070 @ Tue Aug 3 11:37:35 CEST 2021 > Operating system: Debian - EN - utf8 > Platform Architecture: x86_64-linux > Perl Version: 5.28.1 - x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi > Audio::Scan: 1.02 > IO::Socket::SSL: 2.060 > Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.58 (sqlite 3.22.0) > > Thanks > > Harry > > ** > > Refresh (50, 100, 500, 1000 lines) Download > > INFO => 'fix', > OFF=> 'fix', > TRACE => 'fix', > WARN => 'fix', > additivity => 1, > appender_names => [], > category => "network.asynchttp", > is_ALL => 0, > is_DEBUG => 0, > is_ERROR => 1, > is_FATAL => 1, > is_INFO=> 0, > is_OFF => 1, > is_TRACE => 0, > is_WARN=> 0, > layout => undef, > level => 40_000, > num_appenders => 0, > }, "Slim::Utils::Log"), > "GET", > > "https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/search?key=AIzaSyDtCdywz62ovnUzqtEiEkGDF5GSkMsOj_w&maxResults=50&order=relevance&part=snippet&q=level1chat®ionCode=GB&relevanceLanguage=EN&type=video";, > "400 Bad Request", > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > ], "Slim::Networking::SimpleAsyncHTTP"); > $a->[3]{DEBUG} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{FATAL} = $a->[3]{ERROR}; > $a->[3]{INFO} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{OFF} = $a->[3]{ERROR}; > $a->[3]{TRACE} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{WARN} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > ($a, "400 Bad Request"); > } at > /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/YouTube/API.pm > line 169. > [22-01-10 11:30:06.7783] Plugins::YouTube::API::__ANON__ (170) 400 Bad > Request > [22-01-10 11:30:06.7785] Plugins::YouTube::API::__ANON__ (81) no > results > [22-01-10 11:30:06.7815] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (130) > Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Networking::Async::_async_read: > Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at > /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/YouTube/API.pm > line 97. > ; fh=Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::HTTPS=GLOB(0x55eff91e1cc0) > [22-01-10 11:30:17.6195] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1341) Warning: > [11:30:17.6193] do { > my $a = bless([ > sub { "???" }, > sub { "???" }, > { timeout => 15 }, > bless({ > ALL=> sub { "???" }, > DEBUG => 'fix', > ERROR => sub { "???" }, > FATAL => 'fix', > INFO => 'fix', > OFF=> 'fix', > TRACE => 'fix', > WARN => 'fix', > additivity => 1, > appender_names => [], > category => "network.asynchttp", > is_ALL => 0, > is_DEBUG => 0, > is_ERROR => 1, > is_FATAL => 1, > is_INFO=> 0, > is_OFF => 1, > is_TRACE => 0, > is_WARN=> 0, > layout => undef, > level => 40_000, > num_appenders => 0, > }, "Slim::Utils::Log"), > "GET", > > "https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/search?key=AIzaSyDtCdywz62ovnUzqtEiEkGDF5GSkMsOj_w&maxResults=50&order=relevance&part=snippet&q=test®ionCode=GB&relevanceLanguage=EN&type=video";, > "400 Bad Request", > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > undef, > ], "Slim::Networking::SimpleAsyncHTTP"); > $a->[3]{DEBUG} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{FATAL} = $a->[3]{ERROR}; > $a->[3]{INFO} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{OFF} = $a->[3]{ERROR}; > $a->[3]{TRACE} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > $a->[3]{WARN} = $a->[3]{ALL}; > ($a, "400 Bad Request"); > } at > /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/YouTube/API.pm > line 169. > [22-01-10 11:30:17.6197] Plugins::YouTube::API::__ANON__ (170) 400 Bad > Request > [22-01-10 11:30:17.6199] Plugins::YouTube::API::__ANON__ (81) no > results > [22-01-10 11:30:17.6209] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (130) > Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Networking::Async::_async_read: > Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at > /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/YouTube/API.pm > line 97. > ; fh=Slim::Networking::Async::Socket::HTTPS=GLOB(0x55eff90fe730) > [22-01-10 11:32:27.2117] Slim::Plugin::CLI::Plugin::cli_process (615) > Error: Connections require authentication, check login command. > [22-01-10 11:32:27.2120] Slim::Plugin::CLI

The streaming quality is only mp3 when adding albums or playlists (while it's flac when adding tracks). 2. After adding albums or playlists, the playlist on LMS UI (including stardard webUI and "material skin") can only display the album art and track info for the first track, other tracks only have the deezer icon. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SuperDateTime Screensaver v5.11.0 - Date/Time/Weather/Sports/Stocks
Yesterday when this discussion started I reported not having any issue with SDT. Perhaps I didn't realize it at the time, but it was in fact not working. That was confirmed this morning when SDT showed 29 degrees when it was actually 9. I was thankful that BoomX2 was working the overnight shift :-) and an update had already been posted. I applied the update and now neither my Radio nor my Touch are showing any data. The update was definitely applied as LMS Plugins is showing v5.11.18 and I had restarted LMS. I have power cycled both devices. I have rebooted the Windows PC where LMS lives. All that's displaying are the static names of the variables. No data. Any suggestions? I'm using LMS 7.9.4 - 1603273368 which was fine up until yesterday's weather.com blackout. Thanks. (Sorry for the large image. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
Are there issues with Castbridge and switching to MySqueezebox.com using the source pluggin? I have twice crashed when attempting to switch Chromecasts on the Castbridge. (I suppose the virtual Squeezebox exists only in the imagination of LMS, and switching away from LMS to MySqueezebox.com kills the phantasm!) The virtual player just disappears and may show up as an orphan in that pluggin. The only solution I have found is to do a factory reset on the Chromecast Dongle - Castbridge then refinds the dongle and restores the illusion. Or it may be a particular issue with the MySqueezebox.com webpage Remote Control - none of the installed players show up - not even the Boom - the only "real" Squeezebox I have. The Boom shows as registered with MySqueezebox.com, but does not appear in the Remote Control dropdown for choosing the Player. So what's up? No big deal for me. I couldn't use yum (Fedora, not Ubuntu), so the "built on Fedora" note was an important clue for me to use in searching (since my Linux experience was 20 years ago with little in between). I wasn't sure if after cloning I was supposed to cd into the cloned directory and then create the build directory. There isn't a step to do that but it seemed like it was necessary? And I stumbled/struggled with cmake and ffmpeg-devel. I ended up downloading and installing ffmpeg (per your hint) using apt. After I did that I tested the analysis on several files. It worked. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] No Tidal Icon under iPeng "My Apps" after installation
Again, thank you SO much for your quick reply Mherger. I uninstalled the Shairtunes Plugin, uninstalled/reinstalled Tidal and same thing, no App on iPeng, but the App is clearly visible using SqueezePad. (I downloaded this log for you to have a quick looksee/I hope it grab the reinstall) But, I think I have exhausted you and me trying to figure this out. Besides from what I understand, whether I "Airplay" Tidal OR use the Plugin, I get absolutely no gain sound wise, as both will be dumbed down to 16/44.1, correct? And, as I mentioned before, the Tidal App is WAY more sexier than the Plugin... from what I can see. If the latest log reveals something/there is something you want me to try, please reach out. Otherwise, I thank you again, for the time you have spent trying to help me get this going. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Connect - streaming Tidal/Qobuz to LMS via native Android apps
Great, that was fast! [emoji4] Tracks and everthing is playing as Flac and added to the queue as expected. Thanks a lot! I can confirm your Observation after adding an Album to the playlist. No track names and only standard icon displayed. When I choose an album in LMS Deezer only the playing track icon is equivalent to the album's picture too. Seems to be the same but track Name is displayed. Not shure if this was different some time ago. Anyway great improvement for handling Deezer from my point of view! Yes, the /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/DenonAvpControl directory should be the correct one. You can verify this by looking at the 'Information' page in the LMS server settings. Once the fix is installed, you can go back to using the plugin settings menu in Squeezer. Interesting note, Michael: I notice when I "volume up" increment my players using Squeeze Ctrl from my Android phone I get the following volume increments around the "50 range": Squeezelite on Lubuntu: 46, 48, 50, 52... SqueezePlay (Jive) on Windows: 47, 49, 51, 53... Squeezelite on Ubuntu: 47, 49, 51, 53... Squeezelite on Raspbian Buster: 47, 49, 51, 53... Do you think one of my players sitting on a 49er caused it to hang up? Also, wonder why some of my players increment on even numbers and others to odd? Let me know if I can provide you any more details to help you troubleshoot. All that said, all my players seem to working relatively fine for now. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] No Tidal Icon under iPeng "My Apps" after installation
If you Airplay anything using Airplay 1 its 16/44.1. Airplay 2 goes higher and allows sync but neither the Shairport or Phillipes bridge support AP2 at this stage. However if you use the Tidal plugin with a native SB player or Pi etc you can get 24/192 but NOT via Airplay as it stands. Attached are the two files to replace the ones in the DenonAvpControl directory for testing. My suggestion would be to rename the old ones first, i.e. plugin.pm -> plugin.pm.save, copy the new ones in, and then restart LMS. You can also turn the "Enable audio settings menus?" option back on before restarting LMS. That way, you can test updating the Audio Restorer mode in the Squeezer DenonAvpControl menu. I would also like a debug log of your test. Let me put all that in the form of a list: - Download the two attached files - cd to the plugin directory - Rename Plugin.pm to Plugin.pm.save - Rename DenonAvpComms.pm to DenonAvpComms.pm.save - Copy the new Plugin.pm to the plugin directory - Copy the new DenonAvpComms.pm to the plugin directory - Go to the LMS Player plugin menu and turn on the "Enable audio settings menus?" option - *Restart LMS* - Go to the Advanced->Logging menu and turn on "Debug" logging for the plugin (plugin.denonavpcontrol) - Open the Squeezer app, turn on the player, start playback and verify that the volume is functioning correctly - Go into the Squeezer Settings->DenonAvpControl menu and select the "Audio Restorer" submenu - Change the mode from "Restorer Off" to "Restorer 96" (Medium, which was your original setting) - Go back to the main Squeezer menu and turn off the player - Zip up the log file and send it to me If we're fortunate, everything will now be working correctly and you can leave the new modules in place until the next plugin version is released. Good luck! +---+ |Filename: Plugin.pm| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=36786| +---+ Sam SamY's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63495 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
