Re: problem with rb-site !!!

2013-02-12 Thread Christian Hammond
Unless it's a Linux system that you have full access to, including the ability
to configure Apache yourself, and install system-level services (in other
words, you need root access), you can't host it. I can't say what that provider
has.

We do offer professional Review Board hosting at http://www.rbcommons.com/. We
manage the installation for you for a monthly fee. No server-side setup
required.

Either way, you'll also need to make sure your repository is accessible
remotely, outside your network.

You'll need to do that. You can't create a site locally and then upload it

How can I Increase my laptop efficiency

2013-02-12 Thread suhas bhargava

Hello,

I have installed windows 7 ultimate on my laptop. Its configuration is 4GB
RAM, i5 3rd Gen processor. I have to run around 2 to 3 Virtual Machines at
a time giving 1GB RAM to each of the VM because of which my system
performance goes down. Is there any way by which I can increase my system
efficiency.

Regards,
Suhas

I needed to see the output of list-evolutions. It doesn't affect anything, just
lists them.

Make sure you read carefully the instructions in my post and let me know what
you did for each step. For diagnostics, I have to know exactly how everything
went.

It's late here, so I won't be up more than a few more minutes.

2013-02-12 Thread chuck j
Since i couldn't find openssl 1.0.1 rpm, I have to manually compile and
build then install it to the default path, then later i have build p4python.

root@svrrb1 p4python-2012.2.549493# python setup.py build --apidir
/works/p4api-2012.2.585708/ --ssl /usr/local/
root@svrrb1 p4python-2012.2.549493# python setup.py install --apidir
/works/p4api-2012.2.585708/

Assuming everything above working fine i test by providing below command
line.

 import P4
 p4 = P4.P4()
 p4.connect()
Traceback (most recent call last):

Does my P4Python is build with OpenSSL.1.0.1 libarary, What is missing in
my setup?

I know this is not the right forum for above queries but this may provide
some hint why adding repository to reviewboard is giving error.

One thing to verify is that, on the command line (with that version of
 p4), you can do:

 P4PORT=ssl:blah p4 info

Also, what sort of authentication mechanism are you using for Perforce?

In general, running Review Board on RHEL/CentOS 5 is not a good idea.
The default installation of Python on RHEL 5 is 2.4.x, which is too old
to properly support Review Board. (IIRC, it currently has a minimum
requirement on python 2.5 these days).

If you really need to run Review Board on CentOS 5, I recommend
installing the 'python26' and 'python26-distribute' packages from
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL, and then run 'easy_install-2.6
ReviewBoard' instead. This will install all of the ReviewBoard
dependencies in a Python 2.6.x installation. This will work a lot
better for you.

Re: Cannot post-review using API with LDAP user on 1.7.4

2013-02-12 Thread Raja
Hi,
The djblets code that checks the permissions and fetching the object for
repository id: 1 is in djblets/webapi/resources.py:WebApiResource's get
method. If you put a breakpoint inside of that method and try running
http://server/api/repositories/1/, it should stop at that point, and you
can check where it fails. The actual method where the permission is checked
for repositories (this is called from within the above method) is in
reviewboard.scmtools.models.Repository's is_accessible_by method. Its
probably better to breakpoint here rather than the WebApiResource as the
latter is called in more places.

Regards
Raja

Issue 2902 in reviewboard: empty space in summary field not a real link

2013-02-12 Thread reviewboard

Status: New
Owner:
Labels: Type-Defect Priority-Medium

New issue 2902 by matthew@kitware.com: empty space in summary field not
a real link

http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=2902

What version are you running?
1.7.5

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
http://reviews.reviewboard.org/r/

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Move the mouse to the empty area of a review row in the summary column.
2. Middle-click (or ctrl-click)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Request URL should be visible in the status bar, and the request should
open in a new tab. Instead it opens in the current tab.

What operating system are you using? What browser?
Konqueror (kwebkitpart) on Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
This is because some JS or other technique is being used to make the empty
space into a fake link, which does not support normal link operations (e.g.
modified click to open in new tab, status text, context menu). A better
solution would be to add an element (e.g. div style=width: 100%; height:
100%;) that fills the entire table cell, and wrap the a tag around
that, which would remove the need to 'fake' the link. (The same technique
should maybe be applied to other columns, e.g. Review ID, which currently
cannot be clicked in the empty space.)

Alternatively, it may be sufficient to specify width/height 100% on the a
tag itself.

Issue 2903 in reviewboard: Add non-standard port support for SSH+SVN

2013-02-12 Thread reviewboard

New issue 2903 by marcin.z...@gmail.com: Add non-standard port support for
SSH+SVN

*** For customer support, please post to reviewbo...@googlegroups.com

What version are you running?
1.7.5

What's the URL of the page this enhancement relates to, if any?
/admin/db/scmtools/repository/add/

Describe the enhancement and the motivation for it.

Trying to access a remote repository using SVN+SSH protocol, but it doesn't
seem hostname:PORT syntax is handled right.

I looked at rbssh.py, and port does not seem to be used anywhere there

What operating system are you using? What browser?

Looks very similar to Christian's blog post at
http://blog.chipx86.com/2013/01/26/weird-bugs-django-timezones-and-importing-from-eggs/.
The
Channel closed seems to indicate an abrupt closure of the connection
from one of the endpoints.

Can you try and see if the timezones are the same on the server.

Timezones on server and client are both CET. So this seems not to be the
problem...
