Elaine, I give my bulldogs and labs CS every morning for their first bowl of drinking water. My understanding with CS is it kills parasites, fungus, and bacteria on contact. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and I'm not sure that CS would help prevent heartworms disease. If you have allot of mesquites in your area I would continue with a heartworm prevention medicine. I still use Ivomec injection on my dogs for heartworm prevention. I also drink the CS and have never felt better in my whole life. I believe that just a drop or two for 4 ounces works fine, and that could still be a lot more than is really needed. If you add too much it makes it really taste bad, and will upset your stomach. If you add 1 drop per 4 oz. then for 5 gallons (640 oz), that would be 160 drops, or about 2 teaspoons. But I am not convinced that adding it then storing it is as good as adding a drop or two to a glass of EIS and then drinking it about 2 minutes later. We need more data. Her fever broke Sunday morning in the wee hours, about 24 hours before mine did timewise, but about the same length of time after adding the H2O2. So I can't say for sure, but it does appear that add a few drops of H2O2 to a glass of EIS make have be the curative agent. Thanks Bo for the reply. Your right I'm trying to make 20 PPM - on the highest setting. I check every gallon of distilled water with my meter before I put it in the SilverGen and the average is 0.2 so I'm pretty sure my water is ok. I brought new PET plastic water jugs for the CS which I have used since day one of making CS. I don't rinse them out between filling them with the next batch of CS - so they should not have any ozonation or minerals from tap water. I will try the next batch on the 12 o'clock setting and see what happens. But your response encourages me to keep going. Quite frankly, I cannot see how the CS would not be at least somewhat effective at addressing this thing if oral antibiotics do.
