I avoid all sea salt that has any anti-caking additives however benign.
Anti-caking additives let the salt flow and not lump up.
My least expensive good sea salt is from Frontier Naturals out of Iowa. The
fine grind has additives...I get only the coarse version because no
anti-caking additives in it. I grind up the coarse in a Vita-Mix blender and
keep in a glass jar with a plastic lid. It lumps up without additives but we
just deal with it :)

I recently stumbled upon Celtic sea salt...grayish looking...From Eden
Foods. In a nice glass jar with plastic lid. Only $4 for lb. Bought some

I bought some Himalayan salt for the heck of it. It looks very nice and
reddish-pink. Himalayan salt is ancient sea salt from an ancient ocean.

Be careful just drinking distilled. It is devoid of minerals you might need.
Devoid of calcium and magnesium for sure. Adding sea salt won't do it. Maybe
enhanced calcium and magnesium supplementation will.

The distilled versus not-distilled debate has been going on for years

When I said magnesium chloride flakes they are from a natural source. An
ancient sea in Holland. Nigari is a Japanese natural form of magnesium
chloride that is a byproduct of making sea salt. In both cases you don't get
100% magnesium chloride. You get other natural compounds found in seawater

Both the above are preferable to getting magnesium chloride from a chemical
supply house. Not pure enough according to some on the internet. Might have
lead and other heavy metals...so say some

I would get the natural form and see if you do better with it

Hi,
If you have night time leg cramps you could try putting a bar of soap or two
into your bed. Wrapped is OK. It may not work for everyone all the time but
most of the people I recommend it to are happy with it. If you still get an
occasional leg cramp just put a bar of the soap (wrapped is OK) on the center
of the cramp. It often helps.

Before anyone asks... I don't think anyone knows why it works.

 Hi Gladys.

Yes, magnesium oil is the same thing as nigari dissolved in water.
Nigari—used to make tofu (which I wouldn’t eat, as soy is loaded with
phytoestrogens)—can be either magnesium chloride or calcium chloride.

You can get 5 pounds of Japanese (not Chinese) nigari for @$19.98 here:

 http://www.myworldhut.com/products/Nigari-Flakes-Food-Grade-Tofu-Solidifier-From-Japan-Bulk.html

You can get 5 pounds of Japanese (not Chinese) nigari for $18.95 here:

 http://www.herbalhut.com/detail.aspx?ID=21178

But the best buy I have seen for Japanese (not Chinese) nigari is 5 pounds
 for $8.49 here:

 http://www.naturalimport.com/shop_for_nigari?b=1

I forget what the ratio is, but basically, I add water to my magnesium
chloride (nigari) flakes until the stuff dissolves. The texture is oily,
which is why some vendors call it magnesium “oil,” but that’s really a
 misnomer.

It is a great way to get magnesium into the body, because you avoid the
digestive tract and thus you can get higher levels of magnesium into the
 system without having diarrhea.

Also, if you have arthritis, avoid eating foods in the nightshade family:
tomato, eggplant, bell pepper, hot peppers, all types of white potato. They
produce substances that get into the joints and cause great pain.

Sweating is one of the best ways to eliminate toxins. Access to any type of
sauna or even a steam room or hot bath could help. Epsom salts, another
magnesium compound, can be dissolved into a hot bath if you don’t have
magnesium chloride, though you don’t get as much magnesium into the body
using Epsom salts as when you use magnesium chloride.

Possible theory. Leg cramps are caused by xenoestrogens. These are
estrogen mimicking compounds found in things like plastics and
pesticides. Soap contains a molecule which is oil seeking on one end,
and water seeking on the other end. Xenoestrogens which come in contact
with a soap molecule attach to the molecule, and then become soluble in
the blood, which transports it to the liver or kidneys which then expel
it. Or attaching to the soap molecule simply disables its mimicking
effects.

Yes, a bar of 'soap' not a bar of detergent.

I don't put it under the sheets. I like to feel it up against my body. I have
often taken the bars of soap from a hotel because they are thin and I can lie
on them if my back is in spasm. The thing to remember is they are for 'spasm'
not 'pain'. I will also take and put them on my feet if my toes are curling.

CSPRILL BEAD QUESTIONS

2010-06-14 Thread Cathy39etc

I received my Prill Beads and Bodhi says they are optimal, so today was
the first time I drank the water. Gave my husband a glass also which was
cold from the frig. He is not very supportive so I figured it there was a
difference to be seen it would be seen in him. So far nothing unusual in
either of us. Don't feel different. The water is very pleasant tasting as in
there is nothing objectionable in the flavor but I don't feel any different
and hubby hasn't said anything.
Nothing was actually measured so maybe that needs to be better controlled.
If the jar is larger than a gallon should I use more beads or just let it
sit longer? I measured out what I thought was a gallon and just guessed
on the beads so they are not exact either. Bought them from the Blind Guru
and there was no instructions so just went to the web site for that info.
Offered it to my dogs and they seem to like it. But they are still
acting the same. Kinda hard to see if it would make a difference to them.
Has anyone used CS for the water for the Beads?
What kind of a difference would that make?

I have osteo arthritis in my hands and sorta fell into using Magnetic
Therapy by accident. I didn't believe in it at all in the beginning but found
out it does work. In some people it works instantaneously and others like
myself take longer. In my case, it probably took a couple of weeks of
wearing magnets contentiously but at that point I was on meds and it wasn't
helping me. Now I don't use Meds unless I over work my hands doing something
strenuously and need immediate relief. Magnets are cheap and easy to get
and they don't wear out . We used to make and sell magnetic jewelry but
had to go to craft shows and just don't have the time anymore. I believe
about 85% of the people who use Magnetic Therapy see the difference.

I keep a full bag in a half gallon here, and several half gallons in the
fridge. The more water, the more beads, the more beads the higher the
energy and faster it will structure the water Also, you need to
let the beads Cure in the water for quite a number of hours before
consumption if you want the best benefit. I just made a batch a couple
hours ago, it's around 35,000 Bovis, but usually we're 90,000-95,000
BOVIS by the time I consume it, usually after an overnight condition.

I assume reaction is individual, but also keep in mind, I keep Orgonite
in my fridge, and the water that goes into the prill bead jars is
heavily purified, then Charged in my Reverse Osmosis Tank which has a
ring of orgonite around it. What kind of water are you using to start it
out? The Bovis on your prill water right now is around 32,000. Good
water, not earth shattering. Tap water is like 3,000 Bovis.

Most people seem to have a fairly pronounced reaction to the prill from
my home. Some have violent expulsions of 'cargo' they've been carrying
for many years. It has an effect like holy water on people from what I
am seeing. In addition to the actual physical effects of opened
meridians, detoxification, etc.

RE: CSlazer

2010-06-14 Thread Norton, Steve

I stated below that one should get a laser with a wavelength of 660 nm or
higher. I should have said 650 nm. There are studies showing significant pain
relief with a 650 nm laser. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19563196)  This
is good since most red lasers are at 650 nm. And some higher power ones are
available at that frequency. (e.g.
http://www.dinodirect.com/ultrafire-red-laser-pointer-100mw-650nm.html) I have
seen 650 nm, 5 mw, lasers for pain advertised for $399.00 plus shipping.

Kathy,

You should get a red laser with at least 10 mw power. The darker the red color
the better. If it lists the wavelength of the laser you want it to be 660 nm or
higher. Higher is better and should give the redder color. Check out laser
prices at www.dealextreme.com

or

I have purchased from deal extreme but not dino direct. Quality can be poor at
deal extreme so read the user comments for a product before choosing.
Best of luck,

I haven't ordered my beads yet but plan to do that soon. Does it hurt to leave
the beads in the water for a period of time that you aren't consuming? Also,
can you use this water to mix with other ingredients to make flavored drinks or
does it need to stay pure? If you don't have RO water what type of water
should you use? Does distilled water work?

From the People's Pharmacy site that someone referred to recently
there is an entry indicating that Certo which is liquid pectin and
grape juice work well for arthritis pain for some people. There's not

pectin, and the grape juice is just to help get it down. At least,

2010-06-14 Thread Dan Nave
I came across the actual description further along in the site:

http://www.peoplespharmacy.com/2005/10/18/purple-pectin-for-pain/

This home remedy for arthritis pain has generated almost as much mail
as the gin and raisins. One newspaper column reader related that her
grandmother had been using it as long ago as 1945.

Purchase Certo in the canning section of your local grocery. It is a
thickening agent used to make jams and jellies. Certo contains pectin,
a natural ingredient found in the cell walls of plants.

There are two recipes: Take 2 teaspoons of Certo in 3 ounces of grape
juice three times a day. As the pain disappears, this can be reduced
to 1 teaspoon in juice twice a day.

An alternate approach is to use 1 tablespoon of Certo in 8 ounces of
grape juice once daily.

My apologies for the mass mailing; I’m writing in the hope that you
might be able give me some information. My mother-in-law is ill with a
terminal liver disease (a rare form of hepatitis known as auto-immune
hepatitis.) We have been to the top hospital here in Fukuoka, and she
has been told that she would have an excellent prognosis only if she
can get a liver transplant. As there is absolutely no system of organ
donations in Japan, my wife was willing to be a live organ donor to her
mother. However, after my wife underwent testing, she was informed
that she was ineligible to be a live donor; her own liver, while

I wonder whether anyone has first-rate information on alternatives to
transplant.

Thanks in advance.
