The whole mechanism for displaying the folderpane is new for TB3 (Not
RDF but JS)
It seems you can collapse them manually, but opening no longer
downloads

ASFAIK there is no way to revert to the previous behavior.
You would have to file an enhancement request bug for that.

I agree that the expanded folderpane is now pretty cluttered if you
have
a lot of groups.

Upload it to the space you ISP gives you
or get a Blogger.com account.
Within your ad, link to it that.

(I wish more people would use a similar technique
rather than sending HTML pages via email.)

close SM, open IE and click on Tools, Internet Options, 
Programs tab, and down at the bottom, make IE the 
default.  OK your way out.  Then open SM, it will ask

Did it change back?

SM logo stolen

Well, maybe not stolen but IE8 has forced its logo
on all the URL links in my computer.  Now SM 1.14 is
the "default browser" and SM launches when I click on
any 'internet shortcut'.   But all the internet shortcuts
sport the IE logo!

Internet shortcuts do not have a "change icon" in their
properties, so how do I get the icon back?

I don't see why a computer with an old, outdated, and insecure operating 
system needs security updates for its browser for much longer.


That said, the code will still be out there, we will just not be issuing 
new compiled and tested releases for it, mainly because our team is too 
small to build and test old code for a long time next to the new one.


Apart from that, the machines building 1.1.x are old computers that are 
loud and consume a good amount of energy (esp. the Windows one) and I'll 
celebrate the day when I can switch off those old things sitting in my 
basement.

eVince work fine but it may use also gnome libraries...

pc before installing Ubuntu 9.04 (I will try to go back to Gnome).

In my situation, my printer is using cups:

Description: Epson WorkForce 600
Device URL: usb://EPSON/WorkForce%20600
Make and Model: Epson LITE, Photo Image Print...

I've provided a ppd file: eklite.ppd.

Printing test pages via gnome's "Printer Properties" display works.  
Printing a So far, the only printing

problem I had was via Seamonkey 2.0alpha on Fedora Core 9.

OK, just found another app with printing problems: evince.  So 
presumably something is wrong with my
set up; I have no idea what could be wrong nor how to find it.  It was 
hard enough just to find a combination

to get printing to work, period.

BTW, after a reboot, Seamonkey 2.0alpha finally went away and I had 
Seamonkey 1.1.14 back,
so apparently Seamonkey 2.0alpha was cached.  Is there a better way to 
clear the cache than

to reboot?

Interesting... now that I click on that msg the attachment tag does show
up. I'd reloaded the newsgoup msgs; loaded a 1000 I think and selected
'Mark remaining as read', so perhaps that has something to do with it.
