Hello Alexander, I have no any problems with Folders, but Filters. Any suggestions would be appreciable! It is no problem either. When you move a folder, let's say folder A, the filters that move messages to folder Possible_path/A are automatically changed to move messages to New_Account/Possible_path/A. Then, if in old account Sorting Office you copy or cut a filter and Paste in in New Account, the filter will automatically modified to move messages to Possible_path/A. Re[2]: The Bat! v2 Upg Price of $17.50 until October 31, then what?
Hi Alexander, I use The Bat! since May '99 and for four years we got MAJOR enhancements for free. If some other company has produced the Bat, the very same program with the same feature set would be in version 4 or 5 and not 2.00.6. Believe me 1.60 was a major upgrade to 1.50 which was a major upgrade to 1.40 and so forth. A If that is so then what, in the name of everything that doesn't suck, A would've been the problem to say registered before 1.50 release = high A update fee while registered before 1.60 release = moderate upgrade fee A and registered after 1.60 release = lower upgrade fee? The rationale here I think is that it is a smaller jump from 1.6 to 2.0, and therefor you shouldn't pay as much? But this thinking is the reason that Microsoft NEVER releases any updates, short of bug fixes. Anything new is squirreled away for a couple of years, until a new version comes out. The point is that what you suggest would encourage that. Why bother releasing new features as minor updates if you people are going to then complain that 2.0 is not much different than 1.6? You are just going to shoot yourself in the pocketbook. Better to keep 1.0 out forever, release bug fixes as .01 and .02 revisions, and keep all the new features for 2.0. Then you can charge everyone 75% of the full price for the upgrade...insert MS business plan here. I believe it is Microsoft's way of doing business that sucks. Ritlabs, while not exactly scoring a 10, is doing what they can to make some money, which is difficult. I do agree that the 2-month cutoff is a bad idea. -- Caio, Christopher Brown [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm using The Bat! v2.00.6 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Current version is 2.00 | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Others, who were never promised a DW free update, are getting the 50% discount, which *is* the policy. Well, I was told my Stefan himself that the upgrade would be free in May 2003 after having asked him by email. Hello TBUDL, I notice that many of the threads in this group end up broken. This seems especially obvious when The Bat! is threading based upon reference (Alt-1). I would have thought that since the bulk of us are using The Bat!, we would be able to maintain a consistent thread. Are the treads being broken by other email clients? As I look through the threads, it seems that many of the broken threads are created by a users of The Bat!. What is causing the broken threads? Which method do you find to provide the best, most consistent threading of message - by reference or by subject? Just curious, Jeff -- Jeffrey A. Re: System for archiving
So my question is with these duplicates. The method I described I was saying it could work effectively if TB was convinced to kill the Unread messages. If it kills Read messages, then I will be left with two batches of the same Unread messages. If it does cut out the extraneous chaff, and delete not just *comparable* but *identical* messages, then it will leave a complete archive. (Unless I'm mistaken.) How does Kill Dupes work? Am I right in what I said? Can it be convinced to do this?
