RE: Adjustable Sliders Won't Adjust

2015-04-08 Thread Lynda Ingraham
Hi Arnold,

I was able to increase sounds using the single-finger upward flick. The volume
increased by increments of ten.

Wish I had something else to offer.

Good Luck,

I got my new iPhone 6 today, and I have a problem. I upgraded to IOS 8.3 right
after getting it, so I didn't know if it were 8.3, I have no reason to think
so. But the adjustable sliders in, say the Bard app, or Voice Dream, won't
adjust, no matter what I do. I know how they are supposed to work, how they
work on my other phone, but not on this one. I have removed both apps from the
app switcher and restarted them, and have rebooted the phone. I restored it
from the backup of my other phone, but I wonder if something is wrong with this
phone, being that it seems to be a problem with the adjustable sliders, not a
specific app. This is not starting out well with my new phone.

RE: Adjustable Sliders Won't Adjust

2015-04-08 Thread SSEric
I was trying to set time for recording in OoTunes. The sliders would only
work if I slid and touched, slid and touched one increment at a time. It has
been some time since I've used this feature, but I do not remember it being
that way in the past. Is it a change in OoTunes or IOS. It was doing this
before I updated to 8.3.

Re: Adjustable Sliders Won't Adjust

2015-04-08 Thread Arnold Schmidt
Okay, I figured it out. On this thing, the rotor must be set to adjust value
before I can adjust anything. Adjust value does not appear in the rotor until
I have touched something I want to adjust, then it won't adjust it until I put
the rotor to adjust value. My other phone isn't so picky, I usually could
adjust things without having to have the rotor specifically set to adjust
value. Whatever.
