Octave One are about to re-release
their latest offering Blackwater feat.Ann Saunderson which is about to
smash its way into the charts and its rumoured they will appear on Top of
the Pops which will be a first for Detroit Techno.

Kathleen,
The track you're on about was on plus 8 is actually by Kenny Larkin, I
think it featured a Richie Hawtin mix on the flip. I'm not sure but I think
it was actually entitled we shall overcome was either the 2nd or 3rd
release on plus 8. Something like that anyway. Hope that helps you
High hopes ... usually, these things don't even chart sufficiently ...
Jaguar sold in hundreds-of-thousands ... still relatively obscure. (Nobody
mention 'Freedom of Choice', Anne Saunderson c1996?).

surely blackwater has passed it's peak without charting?
anyway what about Inner City,
True ... never 4get Inner City. Anyone remember 'Freedom of Choice'? Or any
other choice cuts Anne Saunderson did with Taurus (I believe) ... they've
got to be heard!
Also, is it me, or was 'Real Thing' (Now, I'm ready for a real thing ...

Talking of 'Black Water'... I happened to catch some local radio
station playing a track which may or may not be in the UK charts... an
R n' B type number with some fairly standard vocals over it - then I
realised the backing track was 'Untold' from the flip. I was floored.
Is this legit?
Blackwater is getting a UK release through a label called Concept and has
big name DJs like Rampling etc playing it, which is why it's thought it may
chart. I think it's out here next week. Good news for those that still want
to buy it 'cos it'll be cheaper.
I thought the Saunderson remixes were
