Hi All,
Our AMANDA backup configuration consisted of AMANDA 2.5.2p1 on RHEL3 as the
backup server and AMANDA 2.6.1p2 on RHEL6 as the AMANDA client. Recently,the
RHEL 3 OS on amanda backup server crashed for some reason and I had to install
RHEL 5.5 OS on it. I had backed up my original amanda

I think you should install termcap and libtermcap packages. Use yum.

Additional information about this problem.
An additional external USB hard drive has been added to this host about
one month ago. The filesystem on this hard drive is not backed up with
Amanda. But the observation is that the Broken Pipe problem seems to
disappear when the filesystem on this

I need to reuse a tape which was used for an old
amanda configuration to a newly created amanda
configuration, for some reason. For that, when I use
the amlabel command to change the tape label and
configuration, I get a message as follows:

It's often because of a stale mount point.

simply downloaded the amanda-backup_server rpm for
