We're upgrading from 5.1 to 7.0. The technical

Thanks.

You should absolutely catch up on v6 stuff - that's probably 85% of the changes there. The stuff in v7 is so small it only warranted a 4 hr webcast. The 6.x stuff is much more than that.

Hi Prasan,
I've tested this combination with out custom apps, and it seems to work the
same as in IE6, but with one exception: IE7 defaults to more trim vertically

John, this doesn't seem join-related. Parent/Child architecture, as you've laid it out, seems more sound to mewith the table fields than with multi-level joins.

Reset her default fonts (Tools -- Options -- Display) and see if that helps. Failing that, ensure that she doesn't have some weird video setup or something.

Rick,
I started to think of using the joins for the "Main Form"
so the user could see all of the fields that they edit. I didn't like the idea
of multiple entries returned on a high level (parent) search so I headed in the
Table and DO filed direction.
The one thing that I liked about a
This should not negatively affect performance if your join criteria is
well defined and indexed/used properly. For example, if all the
relationships are clearly defined pk/fk using guids, then performance
will be good. If you join one form to another and you use several

Tom, I may be shooting in the dark here, but I remember that one of the fixes in Patch 16 was to clear up the last of the bugs that allowed login/pw to be displayed in clear text. You might look into whether upgrading your patch to that level might also help with this issue.
