Um. Microsoft is it's own standard which is different from being the standard. My issue with IE is that it is so integrated into the OS, that a lot of information can be collected just going to a web site. Other browsers are not so integrated and retrieving some of that info is not as easy.

Edit Masked Fields displaying vertical bars

We've set up a number of Edit-Masked character fields, but for some reason when users type in them (via the web), vertical bars are displayed instead of asterisks or black circles. These are the black vertical rectangles that are shown in place of a non-printable character. This is with v6.3
