CMDB and Mid-tier do not need to be installed on the same server. I think all you have to do (beyond what you've already done) to get the CI viewer to work is to point the Default Web Path (its on the Advanced tab of the Server Information form) to your Mid-Tier. Thad Esser Remedy Developer

Gary, this looks like it might be a connectivity issue between AR System and the DB. This often happens when the DB is taken down for backups and then brought back up without restarting AR System. Have you verified that this is not the problem? If it all works again after bouncing AR System,

The DB and ARServer are on the same server. I just found out that server was rebooted at the same time. I checked my dependencies and it shows that SQL Server is a dependency of AR System, so the sql server should come up first and then arsystem should. For some reason, arsystem looks like
