That way you are not really modifying the form, just imposing a restriction
to who can modify data in such forms..

You need to load the def file referred to here. Then within the MidTier config
enable the Object List. Then you need a way to call the form either through
an Entry Point or use an Active Link that opens the form.
Yupsecurity through obscurity is not a good security model. If they
should have access to the data, there is no issue with them being able to
