Hello,
Are you trying to install IIS and Tomcat? If so, we wrote a long list of
issues to BMC on this topic (the default install was broken) but never
got a response. I think the major problem was the 64bit mod_jk build
(1.2.31, or maybe it was 1.2.30) didn't work.

Thanks Jason,
I'm pushing a another system of similar build hard to see if it will crash

I too had many issues with getting the default install of the Mid Tier with the

from the Apache site) and everything worked great. I also had to tweak IIS to
add in some compatibility stuff to get Jakarta working
I can't see the point of IIS in many configurations. Use Tomcat
standalone and SSO Plugin's Integrated Windows Authentication
functionality, not found in any other product :-)

How does BMC manage to slaughter the names of the products it acquires so
thoroughly? Aeroprise was good. It was pronounceable. It was memorable.

You gotta remember the BMC Naming Standards checklist that the new acquisition
rename must adhere to:
1.)Does it contain the words Service,Management, or Automation (if
no, try again)
2.)Can it be represented in a 3-5 letter acronym that is earily similar to
everything else we sell?
FYI, if you're really interested, BMC Mobility is the over-arching name to be
used across BMC. However, since this acquisition is targeted specifically at
the Remedy ITSM Suite, a modifier needed to be put in place to indicate it's
associated with Remedy. Thus it is BMC Mobility for XXX
