Thanks so much. I did check the permissions, but maybe I needed to flush
the cache one more time.
Thanks again...

Thanks for the info but I'm still having problems. They gave me a def file to
import called RKM:VendorTemplate_RightAnswers. I imported that with no issue.
Then they gave me some sample data (arx file) which I also imported to the
RKM:VendorTemplate_RightAnswers form.
How do I connect that
Hi everyone,
The crystal viewer in Remedy clients has always had some quirks but we could
always fix them.
Last week they did a MAS200 server/client upgrade (Finance system) which
also includes a crystal viewer like it did in the past. We've always had to
tweak the crystal viewer especially on
We are passing data from an External System to generate a work order and a
task..
We are using WSDL. What is the name of the out-of- the- box staging form that
is used to pass this data?
I was told there is an out of the box staging form. Is this correct?
Does anyone have a recommendation
For SRM you can use OOTB:
SRM:RequestInterface_Create (For creating Service Requests)
SRM:RequestInterface (For querying and modifying Service Requests)
For Task you can use OOTB
TMS:TaskInterface (For querying and modifying Tasks)
Interface forms allow you to validate data sent from External
Hi List,
Just want to find out if anyone out there is using ARS/CMDB/Midter 7.6.4
with ITSM 7.6.3 and if you have issues. Any experience or suggestion would
be much appreciate.
Thanks in advance

Hi all
Running ITSM 7.0.03
We currently have a survey configured and being distributed via the survey
engine for all incident tickets on resolution. We would like to enable surveys
for all Service Requests now as well. We are seeing that if we enable for
Service Requests we need to enable

Thanks Jennifer. We were hoping to query directly within the Change form
itself. I will use the Chg: Associations form in the meantime though. Thanks
again

I'll looking to see if my thinking is correct on this. I noticed today in
BMC Analytics Universe that it doesn't list any join forms. My thinking
of why is because Join forms do not hold information but gather it up at
the time it is opened. Is this safe to say?
Is there a set of keyboard Shortcuts for the ITSM 7.6.4 version of Remedy? I've
looked through the manuals and only found a few based on Section 508 rules.
I have some users who are very Keyboard driven and when we move them to the web
tool, they are going to ask for the shortcuts.
We have
Correct, for Analytics the joins are built within the universe to define the
relationships between objects. It builds the SQL join string which is really
what a Join form is effectively.

That’s true. Did not think of that.. In this case if you have a server group
you would also need to make sure that there is a shared directory that all the
servers in the server group have access to at all times, that would need to be
configured as the full text search directory, for full
Since you mention 7.6.04 whose consoles are only supported over the web, and
not the thick client, are you trying to use keyboard shortcuts over the web?
Or the thick client?

I haven't gone through the Remedy documentations with regards to this

Shiju,
What are you trying to achieve.. I mean I know you are trying to push 20 or
possibly more in the future, questions to another form, and if that is strictly
what you are trying to do, performance wise you are stuck with what you got..
What I really mean to ask is what is the
you could create a console of hot links.. I suppose... for each person..
using $USER$ And $GROUPS$ and etc.. as part of the link (resolved of course)
I can think of a couple of ways to do that..
Just to get the Juices Flowing..

Hi,
We are using that exact setup here at the moment, and other than the
normal 'bugs' of midtier, we are not experiencing any issues. By
'bugs' I mean the stuff that BMC has to hotfix.
We are on a load balanced system with 2 midtier and 2 ar servers,
both our ARservers are 7.6.03(as is our

There is no out-of-the-box Web Service for Work Order. So, if you are
creating a Work Order directly without a Service Request, you will need to
build one using the form WOI:WorkOrderInterface_Create.
You can also configure a Service Request Definition that uses a Work Order

Hi,
A couple of these works in Mid-Tier on Ubuntu, others do not. For example:
- CTRL-ALT+L locks my windows session (password to resume)
- CTRL-ALT-F2/F3 switches to prompt login in Linux
I am very used to keyboard shortcuts in the native client, and I have made
wide use of the possibility to
