The challenge you are having is that you are using the wrong feature.

Hi,
I'm familiar with AIE but not with AI.
I have a client that has a database (Oracle) with all their purchase
records.
They created a view to gather the columns I need to push to the CMDB.
This view does not have a Product Type or something to identify what
the item is other than Description.
I would like to disable the ability of a Change approver to approve his own
created Changes. I looked into the Self-Approval rule and set the
qualification to ($Submitter$ != $\USER$) but the change approver can still
approve his own tickets.
Please advise on how how I can accomplish this.

I would like to ask, "Why do you want a Remedy server for reporting
purposes?" Remedy is not very good at reporting. There are tools out
there that are good at reporting (no bias) such as Business Objects.
The things Remedy and these reporting solutions have in common is a
database server. Both

Hi All,
We are planning to set up the reporting server by either of the following:
1. Setting up a specific remedy AR box just for reporting---> if we are
going this way, what are the prerequisites required(remedy licenses are
required?) and how this can be achieved?
2. We are thinking of settin

The more problems you are involved with troubleshooting, the faster and

Hi,
Log file analysis in general is a broad topic.
Here are a presentation I have made as various RUG:s concerning AR log
files and performance tuning:

We also have a commersial log file analysis tool to help you on your way.

It is correct that Tomcat doesn't implement the entire JEE specification, but
Mid Tier doesn't use the entire spec. It's a Java Servlet application.

Hi ARS-LIST,
Does any of you have any experiences in how to improve your skills in
log file analysis - as I haven't found any BMC training or anything on
how to learn how to do learn these skills - which I think is very
important in order to troubleshoot all kind of problems for workflow
etc.?
